As previously written, for work I’m a #backend programming, having to do mostly with #microservices and #serverless, programming in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, but started studying seriously #rust for personal interested. I'm also starting to consider the #dart and #flutter couple for starting producing some ui-based stuff. I like the dart language and like to possibility for Flutter apps of easily being Multiplatform.
The problems is, as always, the free type for these additional studies (I’m also trying to study #bitcoin, at the moment… 😜).

I was thinking it’s incredible how fast the #nostr ecosystem is growing and how mature it’s becoming. The microblogging clients are generally pretty nice, there are alternatives for blogging and for crypted private messages, several additional services and various services using Nostr for login… really nice! 😀

I had originally decided, for my personal study of #bitcoin, to mainly concentrate on the tech stuff since I’m a programmer. However, I've since decided to also add non-tech readings.
For day 4 of my personal #100daysofbitcoin challenge, I read the last three chapters of the second part of the “21 Lessons” book by #[0] (“The History and Downfall of Money”, “Fractional Reserve Insanity”, and “Sound Money”). My intent to delve deeply into the tech aspects of Bitcoin remains, but I’m learning that economic and cultural understandings are fundamental too.

No new resources to report today. As anticipated, for my #100daysofbitcoin today I studied chapter 3 of "Mastering Bitcoin”. Testing the provided examples was very useful and, for this, the online, #opensource version of the book was fundamental for easily typing URLs. It also contains color full resolution images. Today it's a public holiday in Italy (#ferragosto), so I decided to start reading “21 Lessons” by #[0], instead of reading technical stuff, for day 2 of #100daysofbitcoin.
I read the introduction, all the first part (“Philosophy”, 7 chapters), and also the first chapter (chapter 8) of the second part (“Economy”).
Very interesting read so far, very inspirational. I can’t wait to also start my personal learning path on #nostr.

For day 1 of my #100daysofbitcoin, I began with the introduction, glossary (very useful), and the first chapter of the “Mastering Bitcoin" book. I see that upcoming chapters will be much more technical. I aim to understand the #bitcoin protocol and eventually write some code.
Though I typically work with Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python, I'll use this opportunity to deepen my understanding of the #rust programming language.
I plan to write a blog post on #nostr detailing the initial resources I've discovered about Bitcoin.

The current conversational #ai platforms (#ChatGPT, #bard, etc...) and the various generative systems (#dalle2, etc...) are definitely far from the general artificial intelligences told in #fantasy books and movies.
The haste with which, however, #Google and #Microsoft have rushed to include them in their respective search engines, with results in some cases between the disastrous and the embarrassing, makes me wonder if these and other companies will have the same haste to put true general artificial intelligences on the market, perhaps with much larger powers.
