@nprofile…8zna I can’t seem to stream sats to you. I shut down my alby node and switched to Strike. Now podcast guru is telling me my Strike wallet isn’t compatible with your payment method.

@nprofile…8zna Thinking about the in-app payment thing - what if the hosting companies provided the integration with apps that wanted to receive payments and then paid out to the shows in a similar fashion to the current hosted stripe integration some are currently don’t.
App takes donation
App settles with hosting companies
Hosting company settles with podcaster
Everybody who invests dev time gets a cut. Only one account for the podcaster to set up.

@nprofile…w0mx @nprofile…td70 @nprofile…7epg Almost feels like there could be a need for 2 tags: one specific for transcripts intended to be used as captions or read along with timestamps and a second for things like web pages, PDFs, text files, and the like.
For myself, I don’t care all that much about VTT vs SRT but I’d choose VTT if I had to make a choice because of the expanded capability.

@nprofile…2802 I can’t seem to get it to work properly when I insert a strike payment address. It looks right in the feed, but fails in practice. I’m sure it’s user error, but my node address works every time.
I tested using Fountain, Podverse, and Podcast Guru. Then I changed my payment address back to the node address.
