I got annoyed with the infighting between instances I want to follow people on, and was annoyed by others having the power to decide who I should and should not interact with. So now I self host.

Vetting follows, If you have mostly emptiness, or ideally even if you don't, please send me a message explaining why you want to follow or some of your interests, and that'll probably be good enough. I'm getting more restrictive because I'm sick of being let down.

I like old thing.
<3 C, Unix, shell scripting, old electronics, emacs, & old cute cars. Nearly 30.
Current obsessions include Bubblegum Crisis, the NEC PC-9801, Homestuck, and basically any old computer I can get my hands on.

I also draw pixel art of varying quality. I have very strong opinions, but also don't especially want to force them on others. Moreso I am interested in loudly voicing those opinions in case it helps someone to change how they see the world.

I take an interest in justice, holding particular fascination for ORCHESTRATING THE DEMISE OF THE WICKED. I will sometimes post politics but I try to put it in content warnings unless it's some surreal silly take on politics with few or no ties to reality.

I want to be genuine and connect with others empathetically, bidirectionally; we need more of that and to assume good faith more easily. I still am strongly opinionated though, so I'm sorry if I don't always live up to my own expectations. It's okay to remind me about this if you think I need it.

I'm some kind of non-binary-ish trans-feminine (mostly sheltering under that label, to be honest), but I'm not too worried about the specifics of my identity. I am me… whatever that means to you.If you want to call me a guy or something, then by all means do so unless/until i ask you to stop. I'm starting to near that point I think, but I'm not sure when I'll cross it. :p

LMK if I should CW something or act differently, I want to be considerate and friendly but I don't always know what upsets everyone…

- People who embrace evil things made by evil companies for evil purposes and try to excuse what they are doing as somehow acceptable. If you can acknowledge your own faults I will not hold it against you anywhere near as much and will sympathize with you much more.
- The military industrial complex
- Microsoft, Amazon, every tech company that has disenfranchised me and made it clear I am neither welcome nor wanted.
- Apple Inc., who made it clear from the start that I would never be wanted or welcome
- Asahi Linux
- Quite a bit of other stuff
