Hey fam,
We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Golden Gate Bitcoin Conference.
Ticket sales simply weren’t strong enough to put on the conference we wanted to build.
We also wanted to make this decision early enough to respect everyone’s time and travel plans.
Everyone who purchased a ticket will receive a full refund within 48 hours.
Bear markets are tough. Building a new grassroots conference from scratch is tough too.
We’re going to regroup and revisit the conference in early 2027.
Thank you to every speaker, sponsor, volunteer, ticket holder, and Bitcoiner who supported us. 🧡

Two more speaker announcements! 🔥
@nprofile…qfyv, every Bitcoiner’s favorite winemaker and the man behind @npub17an…2c0c. 🍷⚡
And Bill Wallace, longtime member of the Bay Area Bitcoiners and founder of MPI, a brand new local business and sponsor of the Golden Gate Bitcoin Conference. Check them out at mpibuild.com.
Ben and Bill will both be joining our Small Businesses Accepting Bitcoin panel to talk about what it actually looks like to build a business on a Bitcoin standard.

🚨 SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
We’re kicking off the Golden Gate Bitcoin Conference lineup with two people who have been teaching, building, and pushing Bitcoin and Lightning forward. ⚡️
@D_plus__plus, everyone’s favorite Bitcoin professor, makes the technical side of Bitcoin and Lightning understandable while building tools and educating Bitcoiners around the world.
@Jestopher_BTC, co-founder & CEO of @ambosstech, is building the infrastructure helping Lightning grow into a global payments network.
They’ve spent years helping Bitcoiners learn, build, and use Lightning.
Exactly the kind of people we want on stage at Golden Gate Bitcoin.
