BIP45 doesn’t introduce a new extended key prefix because:

Bottom line for channel balancing:
Modern swap implementations (like Lightning Labs Loop) increasingly default to Taproot because it's cheaper and more private. BIP-110 would break those default Taproot submarine swaps. Services could theoretically fall back to P2WSH, but that means higher fees, worse privacy, and requires software changes. So BIP-110 would indeed break the way most submarine swaps are currently executed for channel balancing.

Changing consensus should be very very hard.
Taproot upgrade was in retrospect probably not the right move.
BIP-110 or the version - post one year - will also likely be problematic for issues that are currently hard to see/unforeseen.
Default should be no change.
Pushing this as an *emergency* or even an *urgency* is not based in facts and IMHO will be why BIP-110 fails.
