This will be a necessary algorithm. Some people boost way too many posts and their boosting loses meaning. Sometimes you follow someone for their interest in one subject but don't want to see every single thing they post. The main issue at the moment is that with less than 10,000 daily active users and falling (tell me if this is wrong), NOSTR does not need anymore "features" or anymore development at all. Top 5 Questions to ask your grassfed beef supplier
1. Do your cattle spend 365 days a year roaming the pastures eating native grasses and forbs?
2. Do you feed a commercially grown crop to your cattle during any time of the year? Alfalfa and other supplemental feeds are grown using pesticides, herbicides and other things which you might not want in your food
3. Do you treat your cattle with dewormers? Lice control fly spray? These products are often injected (yes, seriously) or fed to cattle in their salt or mineral supply. Oftentimes, a rancher might not even realize it is part of the feed or supplement they are buying!
4. Do you feed anything with Porcine fat or other animal byproducts? Porcine fat is actually not required to be listed as an animal byproducts so people could be feeding tubs of molasses which contain added Porcine fat and it will say no animal byproducts which is totally shady.
5. Do you feed ionophores? Do you treat your cattle with antibiotics? Which shots do you give your cattle?.
Some ranchers live in climates where supplemental feed is simply a part of life in the winter or other dormant months. You need to ask what they feed so you can decide where on the spectrum you want to be. Some people send their cattle to feed on corn stalks which have been sprayed with Roundup and other toxic chemicals. They might not have considered that this would be something a consumer needs to know. It is really up to you to ask the right questions.
Cattle in some areas might need supplemental salt and minerals. Redmond Salt is really a complete and completely organic supplement which would be all a rancher needs. Many ranchers will just go buy whatever salt and mineral they have always used without realizing that it contains fly control pesticides or has added ionophores or contains animal byproducts. The food industry is full of loopholes, false claims and corruption! You have to educate yourself and ask your supplier all the questions and educate your supplier! Find a supplier which checks as many of the boxes that are on your list!

1. My favorite thing about NOSTR are the polite happy people who are engaging in real conversations about real topics. Hopefully that culture will be maintained as NOSTR grows. I think #coffeechain #goodmorning #introductions and zapping all feed this positive vibe
2. My least favorite thing about NOSTR is the lack of users. I think an honest assessment of the number of daily users would be about 10,000. The focus has been on building more cool tech and building and building and there has been zero effort into a PR campaign for NOSTR.
3. I created my first nsec on May 15, 2023 and have studied NOSTR many hours daily simce then.
4. I use Amethyst almost exclusively. I will login to Primal occasionally and Damus to see what they are up to.
5. Most clients have an awful sign in process. People should be able to login and start using NOSTR without knowing or caring anything about nsec, relays or anything else. Just login and go. Let people learn about these refinements later.
6. The lack of users is really the main hurdle. NOSTR needs 100,000 daily users or 1 million daily users to really breakout and be useful. NOSTR is so incredibly powerful because the simplicity makes it possible to build new functionality which simply does not exist anywhere else or to "expose" functionality which has been walled off and only available to people who control the major social media companies. However, if nobody knows about NOSTR how will it reach it's true potential. Certainly someone in the NOSTR universe must have a media connection (or 100) who could mention NOSTR anytime an article is written about Threads, Twitter, Blue Sky, Mastadon, etc. #grownostr #asknostr #plebchain

When I eat beef from a trusted local rancher, I know that nothing has been sprayed on the land. The cattle roam the prairie 365 days a year eating only what is produced by rain and sunshine. The only supplement they get is Redmond salt. When I have to buy pork, chicken , seafood or vegetables I know virtually nothing about the situation. There are many loopholes with organic vegetables. Were they grown in healthy soil? What were your organic chickens fed? If you can form a relationship with the person who grows your food, and if you ask the right questions at least you have a chance of knowing exactly what you are eating. #grassfed #proofofsteak #carnivore

This is great! I just asked Chat GPT why beef is so harmful for the environment and one of the answers was "it is estimated that 1 lb of beef requires 1,000 gallons of water." Then I asked it if that water disappears from the earth and it said "no, it does not disappear and it explained where the water goes , "transpiration", groundwater recharge, etc. Then I asked, so why is this bad for the environment and it capitulated with this answer!
You have to ask the right questions! When you hear stupid garbage from cunning people or from AI models fed garbage by duplicitous sources, You have to ask the right questions!
Here is what it said when "caught". At least it fesses up!

Daily rant against the anti-meat Mafia. Have you heard the "it takes 300 gallons of water to produce a pound of beef", so beef is bad for the environment argument? You have to admit that whoever is behind the anti-meat propaganda are extremely clever. They take advantage of the fact that 90% of the population live in a city and have very little understanding about where their food comes from and don't really think even superficially about the sound bite fed to them.. A friend came out to the ranch for a visit. She is a super person, interested in organic food, and a serious carnivore but as we were touring the ranch she said, "it's too bad that cows are so bad for the environment. Did you know it takes 300 gallons of water to produce a pound of beef?" I am pretty easy going but this set me off. I asked her to explain the statement and she said, well I guess it is because they drink so much water. So I told her to use the head planted firmly on her shoulders to explain to me where that water goes after the cow drinks it and how exactly that is bad for the environment. She was confused, so I said "the cow drinks 30 gallons of water, and then does that water disappear from the earth? Is it zapped away into outer space? No, the cow then proceeds to walk across the field and redistribute that water in various places ." I know there are many smart scientists on NOSTR so I would like to hear confirmation from someone that the water indeed does not disappear! Many people who raise Grassfed cattle practice some type of rotational grazing which seems to improve the grasses. My theory is that many people do not understand the true productive potential of their land because many extremely productive plants have been crowded out over the years and through no fault of their own, they simply have not seen these plants growing on their land. The only way to really see the variety of plants which existed is to strip graze a piece of your land and then let it sit for an entire year. Obviously, you cannot do this with a large piece of land, but you can certainly do it with a small plot and then just let it grow back with whatever happens to grow. One of the incredible plants you will see grow back will probably be Pigweed. You have probably seen this growing in your working pens. It can grow 5-7 feet tall in a low rainfall environment (15 inches per year type of climate) and much taller (10-12 feet high) if you live in an area with 30-40 inches of rainfall. Many people will say that Pigweed is toxic to cattle and other livestock but this simply is not true. It might be toxic if it is the only thing your cattle eat, but in a pasture with a variety of weeds and grasses, cattle will eat a wide variety of available plants and won't get a toxic dose of any one plant. Plants such as Pigweed which some people consider to be Weeds have the particular advantage of being able to grow with very little water. They produce an abundant amount of "plant matter" which as any person with cattle knows is extremely important as cattle consume 20-30 lbs per day of food. When you start to see the incredible variety of plants that will grow on your land in addition to the grasses, you will understand that the land has much more productive potential than you might have imagined. The problem the becomes how do you graze these extremely abundant annual plants to take advantage of this abundance.

What is Zilmax? I will give you a brief overview, but you need to go do some research in order to fully understand how sick and twisted the food industry is: These two drugs are "beta-agonists", which are common asthma medicines. One side effect of Asthma medicines is unwanted weight gain. Hmmm, unwanted weight gain! I know an industry that loves weight gain! The animal husbandry industry. But but but, these drugs cause heart problems and they are banned for use in animal husbandry in 160 countries! No worries, we'll pay off all the regulators! So,..... Net result is that these drugs are fed to Farmed Fish, Cattle in Feedlots, Chickens and pigs. Lots of extra weight! There is no withdrawal period before slaughter so you are getting a passive dose with every bite! YUMMY!! Need another reason to seek out your local grassfed farmer? Ask the rancher the tough questions! Do you feed beta agonists? Some people believe they are "organic" or that they are not feeding this or that and they don't realize it is added to certain feeds or supplements they buy. Unfortunately, you have to know ALL the questions to ask! I believe that if you eat Grassfed beef from cattle that graze native pastures 365 days a year is probably the purest form of protein known to many! On native pasture, cattle will eat 50 or 100 different types of grasses and forbs which all have different nutritional and medicinal properties. A healthy grassland is not just grass!!
This pasture is covered with Arrowhead Sunflower plants which are 2 feet tall. There are many native plants which can grow incredibly tall and provide great forage. Many of these are considered weeds by some but they have incredible nutritional value and more importantly they can grow with very little moisture. Next time I'll post a picture of 6 foot tall "pigweed" . Pigweed grows where nothing else will grow!! You might know it by its name, the ancient grain Amaranth. Why wouldn't you want 6 foot tall incredibly nutritious Amaranth growing on your land? Of course you would if you knew about it!

Have you ever seen Bread at the grocery store which says "extra fiber"? Have you ever seen those "cleanse" products? Ever eaten a cookie that says it is low sugar and it tastes a bit too good to be true?
Thank SAWDUST!!! Yes, the FDA allows sawdust to be added to food with zero regulation!! It is in bread, cheese, cookies, milkshakes that you buy at fast food places, ice cream, etc.
You are thinking, "how is this possible"? I have never seen a food label which says "sawdust". Well of course not, that would be bad marketing! But how about if we call it "cellulose"? Sounds better! Celery has a ton of cellulose right? Celery is good for you, right?

Do you know how the FDA categorizes cellulose in food? It is labeled GRAS. Generally regarded as safe. Which technically means that zero testing has been done.
The food industry LOVES cellulose because it is cheaper than whatever it is replacing. Remember the food industry is all about "weight". If you can sell a pound of cheese which is 30 percent sawdust, you are going to make a fortune! Sawdust is cheaper than milk!
If you can add sawdust to bread, amazing! Did you know that sawdust is much cheaper than wheat?

These modern chemicals are systemic and are present in the entire plant. Then they are given asthma medicines which are illegal in 150 countries to make them gain extra weight right before slaughter.
