Using curl I get a 301, but from Dart code I get a 403:
'You must set a proper User-Agent string that identifies your application. Sample code UA strings, default http library UA strings and generic or vague UA strings are not allowed.'
I can't work out why it doesn't like my call from Dart (I have a valid user agent) and why I don't get a 301. Just wondered if anything came to mind? Thank you!

@npub13cg…ck4q Hi James. One very minor issue with the Podnews RSS feed. You have a recurring 'ALSO TRY' episode, but the image link is broken. It points to an asset on BuzzSprout, but when you try to access it you get an access denied.
Doesn't stop you playing the episode, but just results in a broken image in a player.

Yes, that probably is the answer, and why I was curious on the approach as its pushing use of apps that support the alternate enclosure first (or at least video).
I did start listening to the episode in TrueFans via my desktop browser and it was a great experience.

They're a UK based Audiobook company with a growing catalogue. They charge £7.99 per book, no subscription, nice and simple. They also have a feature called X-Book, where some titles also include an e-book like version so you can read along, or mix reading & listening. https://xigxag.co.uk

Interesting. Looks to be a wrapper around a XML parsing C library.
I wonder what they are comparing it with to get that 10x-100x speed comparison.

It's a bit of a fiddle the charts API. To get each podcast in the chart, after the toppodcasts call you have to make a second call with each ID. For example:

Ah! Interesting & frustrating. It does feel like a game of roulette and it all depends on the person you get reviewing your app on the day.

Question for the app devs. Has anyone had their app rejected on the Apple store due to:
'providing potentially unauthorized access to third-party audio or video streaming, catalogs, and discovery services'?
Not had this myself (at least not yet), but a few devs who use one of my libraries has and asked how I've dealt with it. Wondered if anyone had any tips or suggestions? Cheers.
