Most of those streets are incredibly safe. Some of the areas to the east are iffy, and there are parts of downtown but the homeless everyone avoids, but its a safer city than you know.

I wouldn't put it past show biz executives to be putting the thumb on the scale in the current atmosphere but I'd guess it was never as popular as social media made it seem.
