Id probably consider getting married (non religious) in Iceland
The spot where this is recorded:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=eCKHf2qo8y8
Or possibly the place in Finland where this was recorded:
https://youtube.com/watch?v=PI9FIyAUAME
Booth of those would mean leaving the country to get married 🇸🇪
And I am still single anyway, so it's several years away

@nprofile…60xv I'm at a nerd/anime convention here in Sweden (you should come here for närcon summer by the way) and I've been recommending vivaldi whenever it has come up in conversation
Närcon is held in Linköping in Southern Sweden twice a year, It's really fun, highly recommended

I've said so before, but maybe ask some Linux content creators to be on the podcast, and in some cases the other way around
I know for a fact (or at least I suspect so) that @nprofile…t8sa would love to do so
On the other hand, @nprofile…cz9d might also say yes
Those are only the ones off the top of my head...
I think it would show large part of the Linux user community that vivaldi is a good alternative, despite not being fully FOSS
And seeing as many people use Linux/Vivaldi for the customization features... It might make sense for many to switch, once they know Vivaldi/Linux is a thing

Fun "fact":
@nprofile…7m8a has more than twice as many installs as opera among Arch-Linux users who have opted in to pkg stats
(At least if I'm understanding the data correctly)
Thanks to @nprofile…cz9d for making a video on that site

One thing I use FF for, is "web apps"
Or rather "single purpose browser instances" as I often utilize things like tabs and being able to visit pages outside of the main one (think like opening the merch store of a YouTube channel in a new tab in the YouTube "web app") things that can't be replicated with the Chromium implementation (which also looks like crap in my setup)
A plugin I almost always use there is sideberry, and sure, Vivaldi has amazing tab management, but tab stacks are only one level deep, Sideberry adds sessions and tree-style-tabs. What I do is that I use some usercss to completely hide the built-in FF tabs, and add a button to the toolbar to toggle the nested tree of tabs
I don't use or want to use vertical tabs in Vivaldi, but the multiple levels of tabs is something that I'd definitely like to see
And if Vivaldi had sideberry-style vertical tabs, I might just start using the profile feature to replace my current ff-pwas setup
One thing I really want is a way to have Vivaldi ask if I want to restore all my tabs, Windows and profiles,
and perhaps a way to save all open tabs in a session (getting date-time as name by default) and then closing them, similar to how the "onetab" set of Browser extensions works, but using built-in features

I personally would like to see (hear) some Linux YouTubers like @nprofile…cz9d
I give him as an example because he has talked about Vivaldi in the past, covered Vivaldi's lack of FOSS licensing but presence of FOSS friendlyness(being source available and willing to open more in order to increase trust)
I would also like his opinion on things like OnlyFjords, vivaldia(2), this instance, and his thoughts on the rest of the "Vivaldi ecosystem" in general
Other than the usual timezone issues, I think he would be a good fit for the podcast
And perhaps he can have someone from the Vivaldi team(or even @nprofile…9p4s) on his own podcast: tech over tea

@nprofile…7m8a ah, Vivaldi is like Buffy
The (data-)vampire slayer
@nprofile…7m8a the data-Vampire slayer
The chosen one
"In every generation there is a chosen one. She alone will stand against the vampires the demons and the forces of darkness. She is the slayer."
- Joss Whedon, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Quite an appropriate comparison in my opinion
FF was the last generation, Vivaldi is the current one

For the next update, you should add an option to have the newtab button in the old place in the tabs overview, I still have muscle memory for quickly opening a new tab by touching twice in the same spot in the bottom right corner, except now nothing happens as the second button has moved

That is true for booth Vivaldi and Emacs...
Although Emacs needs Plugins for some of them, but it also has several implementations of some

I use most of them, history is really useful, email/rss/calendar is great but I mostly use them in Fullscreen mode, notes are essential, and saved sessions is something I want to start using more.
But I usually want most of my screen to be whatever website I'm on at that moment.
And I won't count downloads, as it auto opens.
Feature request to be able to turn off "download finished" notifications

Email-client feature request
Mail filter including received days ago
So I can auto-delete "sales this week" messages after a week
I get messages from Steam and a couple of local physical stores and they are only relevant for a week

A subpage on my own website:
https://erik.lundstedt.it/pages/newtab.html
Might not count as it was originally intended as the new-tab page for my luakit config, but it certainly does the job well
I also have various parts of the fennel and lua documentation always open on the fennel workspace (fennel = cool programming language)
Feature request:
Workspace and pinned tab aware version of the onetab plugin, session saving and history works OK but I'd love to have the grouping features and the "remember all the open tabs, close all the open tabs" workflow that Onetab usually provides

@nprofile…x9jw I usually just log in to sync all that,
But getting native window declarations (I don't want a minimize, maximize, close at all as I use a tiling window manager on Linux) and settings+popups in new tab instead of window is quite important

I have a large nummer of "custom" search engines, I use folders and categories on the speed dial and I often use https://erik.lundstedt.it/pages/newtab.html for perfectly organized links to sites I use together a lot
One feature request would be to have the ability to set a group of pages that automatically open when you open a specific workspace
So when I open the Lua workspace the first time that session, it automatically opens the lua docs and luarocks
