You can in fact download all the sources for #RHEL yourself, guess who #centos came into existence?
btw the birthday field doesn't have to be just for age verification, it could also be useful for parental control.

@nprofile…65q8 @nprofile…cy5p Does gender neutral treatment and positive actions conflict? I think one can interact with anyone who is vulnerable i.e. hesitant to communicate with positive feedback. Gender doesn't matter to recognize someone daring to overcome their challenges.

@nprofile…65q8 @nprofile…cy5p I think in general it helps to not pay attention to the person's gender. Act gender neutral. If there's anxiety or hesitation give space to reply. Make it easy to say no, its very good to acknowledge boundaries especially for neurodivergent femme's where they expect them to be violated.

@nprofile…9r8n Mit Wayland ist das so eine Sache finde ich, es ist schwerer sich selbst etwas zusammen zu bauen da jeder seine eigenen Protokolle hat.
Was ich zum Beispiel bei KDE mag ist Kscreen. Es speichert die Zusammensetzung von jeder einzelnen Anordnung an Monitoren und wendet sie dann entsprechend an wenn du ein neuen verbindest. Auf X11 geht das ohne KDE window manager aber auf Wayland brauchst du den von KDE oder einen anderen der die gleichen Protokolle kann.

Now that so many moved of from #Twitter it should have been an opportunity for more #Federation
but #NIH syndrome of #Bluesky and the political surrounding situation somehow worsened it.
Besides the whole technical discussion #Mastodon or #ActivityPubs public-relations
to expand the userbase could have been better.
Now we kinda have a set back where we just have a Twitter under another name
with slightly better API access compared to Pre Musik/SigHeil-Hitler.

@npub1w5z…rl8t The priority thing explains this very much. However I think to keep track of work
using git am is still better since you can rebase patches when they don't apply anymore and keep the metadata intact.
I'm interested how far you have to keep the Qt code around.

@npub1w5z…rl8t Would it make more sense to for run git am on all the Mozembeded/SailfishOS patches?
