-Bitcoin is for everyone
-Bitcoin doesn’t care
-“Bitcoin fixes this”
-Bitcoin is antifragile
If you agree with those, there’s a possibility that Bitcoin can act like a Trojan horse for change.

Yeah, I don’t disagree. I felt Danny was trying to warm him up with some softballs that could’ve have been better thought out, and Saylor took offense. From that point on, he was unrelenting.
Saylor’s mantra of being “cheerful and constructive” wasn’t quite on point though.

Honestly not worried about the proliferation of shitcoins. It’s a free market of ideas. #Bitcoin will prove over time it is the signal to 💩’s noise.
While many’s short-to-medium term education will be more costly as a result, the lesson will be more easily digested by society over the long-term. We’ll eventually grok that 💩s are analogous to casinos; the house always wins.

I totally agree, but, if Bitcoin is as antifragile as we believe it to be…
1) it shouldn’t matter
2) wouldn’t we want our homeland leading
I used to think that as well, and don’t get me wrong - I don’t WANT state capture. I do think though it is inevitable AND simultaneously believe the protocol can withstand human fallibility in any form.
