I will say increasingly blue MAGA or vote blue no matter who are also just the worst PR possible for the Dems. They will yell at people for deigning to condition their vote on stopping the genocide in Gaza or not hating or discriminating against trans people or not hating unhoused people, instantly making them seem like the biggest kind of amoral pragmatic assholes. I'm not a US citizen and it is still demoralizing to see these people crawl out of the woodwork to shout at someone daring to hold politicians accountable. I will always remember the videos of people at the DNC covering their ears while protesters shouted the names of children killed in Palestine by the Israeli armed forces. They keep on digging a bigger hole for the party and the party is calling in bulldozers to help dig further, it's just a shitshow.

Imagine if the left, rather than getting mired in its load-bearing ableism and workforce fetish, had raced down the highway opened by the crisis. Bringing decades of thinking to bear, it could have had a ready-made dream to sell to people suddenly much keener on listening. Beyond even winning elections, it could have woven itself deep into the fabric of society, giving guidance and theory to structure all that self-started solidarity into a durable new world.
We'd likely be living better. Breathing more easily - likely maskless, suppression achieved. Working together on a million projects, tied to actual needs and joy, climate goals suddenly back in sight. Black people maybe, at last, free. Fascism kneecapped by the sheer power of folks just doing cool shit. Disabled and chronically ill people finally recognized as full members of society worth caring about and standing - or sitting! - proudly next to.
That world is what I have been mourning for five years.

PSA for folks using Blox N95 masks: there's been reports of tearing and holes where the elastic meets the filtering material. Several people say they fail their fit test with masks that have holes in them. Check your masks for holes, report them to Blox, and avoid using them in high risk situations if possible.
EDIT: The person who reported this initially is in contact with Blox. They claim it should be fine, but people's fit tests show otherwise. There's likely to be some variability with how much a tear compromises the seal for each person. I've amended my warning to say avoid them in high risk situations if possible. Will update this post with official information from Blox when I know more.

Creo que eso se debe a que las comunidades hispanoparlantes de odio no han entrado aquí, porque lo que denuncian personas racializadas angloparlantes es la cantidad de odio y abuso verbal que reciben aquí. Y es el por qué se habla de el valor de estar en ciertos servidores con moderación proactiva y cercana, porque la desfederación y otras acciones sí les han ayudado a controlarlo. No creo que haya muro, creo que la gente que desarrolla software del fediverso tiene que ponerse las pilas para tener mejores herramientas de seguridad y moderación que no dependan de que les moderadores y administradores de instancias puedan con una avalancha de fachas las 24 horas del día.

Como todas las cosas, habrá tantas experiencias como personas en España. A menos que tengas la capacidad de revisar todo lo que haya pasado en el piso antes de adquirirlo, siempre va a haber sorpresas. Es lo normal con el ritmo de vida que nos exigen. Con más tiempo, pues podrías pedir una revisión del piso y por lo menos pedir que quien lo está vendiendo te ajuste el precio a algo justo por todas las inversiones que vas a tener que hacer.

Sin duda no falta gente que tiene algo de culpabilidad en el desmorone de la izquierda federalista a la izquierda del PSOE. Pero visto lo visto los últimos años, se nota quién estaba por tener hambre de poder y estaba dispuesta a lanzar al resto a los lobos para mantenerlo, y quién, con todos sus asteriscos y problemas, tenía mayor compromiso ético con su supuesta ideología.
