Ok so "win NT" is the "OS library" on a game console. Everything that handles disc, RAM, files, I/O, data in, data out, scheduling, process distribution. That is certainly what I'm referring to in the last post, but add a bit for software modules operating on those specific systems that were copied from former existing systems.

I just want to state that Nixon shouldn't singularly be to blame. He just so happened to be at the mantle when it all fell apart. France ran the numbers in the mid 60's and found out the US had been printing money with its war expenditures, that led them to acquire and cash out USD -> gold nonstop. Nixon just made the juxtaposition, Kissinger making the deals with China and Volcker controlled the economy and actually succeeded in stopping it from failing with 15% rates.

It's kind of expected when your allies discover you'd been printing money and selling them lies for 20 years BEFORE Nixon. France figured it out in the mid 60's and made bank on the USD/Gold exchange. The Germans and UK a bit after and that caused the Nixon Shock shortly after.

That is true, I tend to over look the Bretton Woods institutions of the IMF/World Bank a lot and the abuses they do since I grew up thinking they were the good guys. On the other hand, you can't deny China's aggressive takeover of some African countries in the early days of the BRI. Those turned out to be some of the greatest investments in all of history though.

The BRI was more about debt trapping countries for their natural resources in its early years, but seemed to evolve more to mutual trade in more recent years. If you take a look at the ports china controls though, that is a very sinister chart of a mercantile overlord power.

It is true that the BLS did make some significant changes to how they are collecting and reporting prices in various regions, especially smaller cities. They did almost entirely eliminate staff at regional departments that would literally go from store to store collecting sticker prices and going door to door asking about rent prices. That can certainly affection regional inflation tracking like the twitter post says.
On the otherhand, the BLS started buying cash register data from Nielsen years ago. They get car sales prices from JD Power. These aren't sticker prices, but the actual final prices paid by people since the sticker price tracking never took into account discounts or deals. They get rent data based on census surveys. They do significant web scraping for prices. The shift could simply just be officially switching to these collection methods versus the more archaic (and expensive) methods they used before.

In the 2020 primary she was polling at 3% - barely above Andrew Yang. It took one debate with Tulsi Gabbard pointing out some of her shitty California AG history for Kamala to drop out.
There's plenty more negative things you can say about her AG history, but the media is trying to portray her as a moderate now when in reality she's to the left of Bernie Sanders and in AOC territory in her views.
Having Josh Shapiro as her VP pick would certainly lost much of the anti-Israel vote as he formerly volunteered for the IDF when he was in college and wrote about his very anti-Palestinian views.
A win is absolutely not believable.
