Well off to bed for the night, I have done some new documentation for the next version of Podcast Performance which also includes Podcast Events.
From version 1.0.2 it will be able to support the following two new tags.
<podcast:poll>
<podcast:qna>
as well as ratings which wont technically need to be shown in the item, but I think if a podcasters wants to show it in the feed we should have something called <podcast:rating>.

mmm So this will be done by humans, which means that they will have to review it if the feed as a new episode and does not declare medium in the feed.
Seems like policing and modifying a persons content - even if for good.
Who to say it stops there?
Yes I know sceptical but just pointing small things out.
Also what if it is a radio show that has talking and music? does it get classified as talking or music. If the show is talking about DJ mixes and where there next event is?

I would hate it if a client or a distributor started editing my feed.

Also #YouTube podcast sucks too, as they don’t take the RSS feed.

What players support this by default? I could see it helping reduce cost for hosting providers but it depends on how many players support it and support it by default. Sometimes seems we support things and they don’t take off which means it’s just a cost that we take on to be cool.
