I like this tried and true method.

Yeah, 2000 is really late for factory cassette. And I really need it. I have thousands of cassettes many recordings of live shows and going down the road can give me an opportunity to listen and make notes.
And I really need the CD player because you only get old music on cassettes and I can burn new music to CDs.
And I can't be dealing with my phone while driving.

I have been using Reverbnation for my free newsletter but it doesn't fit as well as it used to and it has a limit of 500 addresses without upgrading.
I run my own server with nginx on Ubuntu so it looks like I can install ghost.
Is this difficult or straightforward? Can I install to a subdomain?

Yeah, pretty sure it's from the Bag's Groove album. I listened to both.
Miles said that Sonny wrote it in the studio. Started with a bunch of phrases. I just ran through it and I remember most of the melody. It was one of my first jazz vibraphone pieces.

The session featured Horace Silver on piano, Percy Heath on bass, and Kenny Clarke on drums.
Of course, also Sonny Rollins on tenor.
The chemistry between Rollins and Silver is strong. The thing about this recording is how much space Rollins leaves in his solo and how Silver manages to play the perfect chops in that space.

I started to practice some of the transcibed phrases and I came up with the double bebop scale technique where I use the chromatic runs from both the C and F bebop scales over the rhythm changes A part in Bb.

So here's my idea.
I want to use mastodon toots as a comment thread for my blog posts.
At the bottom of the blog post I want to embed the toot and the replies.
I can pull the toot id from the embed code.
Then I want to make a database query to get all the replies to that toot.
Then I can generate the embed codes needed to show the toot and all the replies.
I'm a mysql guy, not postgres. Also a mastodon newb.
I want to know how to get the reply ids for a toot.
Any help, links, etc?
