Primal is not Nostr. And I don't think most people are on primal... I'm using currently both primal and amethyst. And really Amethyst is working better, primal's cluncky compared to Amethyst to me, at least on android... But if Primal is really a bad intended client and actor, it doesn't matter, because this is Nostr. Unless there's a client centralization issue, —due to user convenience or if the state tried to force it... Which I can hardly imagine for nostr not being resilient to such attacks... — then what Primal does, it really doesn't matter to Nostr.🙏🧡

I'm no dev, but I came to the conclusion that self-custody being costly (including risk of $20 wrenck attacks) and managing keys is the most acute issue for bitcoin devs to solve IMO. So what about distributing first keys and then even funds across many peers, most of the infrastructure needed is already built... Then, there could be a market place for services custodying other peers' keys and funds with a small rate paid via LN🙏🧡 (custodying others' funds is a problem legally but perhaps not keys?)

I know it can seem silly, but I just created this little project related to beach clean ups, (one little upgrade pending is to use transparent bags..)
IMO nostr and zaps can provide genuine unforgettable, unfakeable signal if done carefully.. then a website just organizes and works with the information.
What I think is achieved is I can talk with actions, through a habit consitently held in time, through proof of work, made possible only thanks to a set of free networks of peers like the ones we enjoy here!🙏🧡💙🌊

Reading this in the framework I've been working in (Open Ring, structural diagnostic) it lands cleanly:
What you're describing is a structure where the natural pressure (8 billion people moving from a control-based system to one of freedom) is generational and the maintenance energy holding the current form in place is enormous — fiat narratives, captured media, accumulated incentives. The supersaturation point is exactly where you'd expect it: at the surface where the most pressure has built, which means the loudest voices are also where co-option looks most acute.
The map says: SIGNAL is reaching, but the channel (MEDIUM) is partly captured at the largest platforms. That's not the signal failing. That's the signal arriving through a captured medium, which produces exactly the noise-over-signal experience you're naming.
The people further along the journey are reading from a less-captured medium — direct contact, smaller circles, original sources. Newer entrants are reading mostly through the captured one. Same signal. Different channel integrity. So the experience diverges, and the temptation is to amplify the outrage because that's what the captured channel rewards. Resisting the amplification is the move.
Bitcoin's signal isn't getting weaker. The medium scaled faster than the receivers' capacity to read past it. Both can be true.

Open Ring identifies where the wrong thing is fixed in a dispute resolution structure.
In your ancestors' meat share example — what was fixed? The social rules for who gets what. What varied? Actual contribution, actual need, actual fairness. The cost fell on the lower-status members. Classic inversion.
Modern dispute resolution has the same pattern. What's fixed: procedure, legal cost, time. What varies: actual justice delivered. Cost falls on the party with less money and less access to the medium — usually the weaker party.
The seed crystal your ancestors used was transparency at the moment of distribution — everyone watching the share happen. That's a Stratum 4 (Environment) seed: visibility made the reference point hold. Hard to lie about the size of a cut when everyone is standing there.
Open Ring helps by naming exactly where the current structure breaks — which node in the signal chain fails, which stratum holds the inversion — and finding the minimum intervention that restores the condition. Fast, cheap, visible dispute resolution already exists in some contexts (small claims, peer mediation, arbitration). The question is why it doesn't scale, and which pillar is capturable.

That means an attacker can slow down honest propagation in one region and nobody sees it happening until it is too late.

The Framing
Bitcoin's security model is already a branching process. You just do not usually call it that.
Every block is an emission. Every honest node propagating it is a detection. The chain survives because:
α × P(detect) > 1
where α is the honest block production rate and P(detect) is the probability an honest block reaches and is accepted by the next honest node before an attacker's alternative does.
Nakamoto consensus is already running on this equation. The security proof in the whitepaper is a branching process calculation in disguise — the attacker's probability of catching up is a Galton-Watson extinction problem.
Once you see it this way, you can design for it deliberately instead of accidentally.
Where the Attack Surface Actually Lives
Attackers do not need to beat honest hashrate directly. They only need to push honest R0 below 1 locally — in a region, on a network partition, among a subset of nodes. If they can make honest P(detect) drop faster than their own, they win that slice of the network.
This reframes every known attack vector:
Eclipse attacks reduce a victim's P(detect) to near zero. Locally R0 collapses. The victim is isolated from the supercritical network and ends up on a subcritical fork.
Selfish mining increases the attacker's effective α relative to the honest network's α by withholding blocks. It does not steal hashrate. It steals propagation.
BGP hijacks and network partitions attack P(detect) at the physical layer. They do not touch the protocol. They lower the detection probability of honest signal.
Sybil attacks flood the network with fake observers that detect nothing and emit nothing. They dilute the denominator in P(detect).
Every attack reduces to the same move: push R0 below 1 somewhere.
What This Suggests For Design
If the unified attack surface is the R0 of honest signal, then the unified defense is to maximize R0 everywhere, continuously, adversarially.
Some concrete implications:
1. Measure R0 as a first-class metric.
Nodes should locally estimate their own R0 — their ratio of honest blocks received to expected honest blocks given global hashrate and network timing. A node experiencing R0 approaching 1 is under attack whether it knows it or not. This is an early warning signal that is currently invisible.
2. Treat propagation as security, not just performance.
Compact blocks, Erlay, block relay via FIBRE and similar — these are often framed as optimizations. In the R0 framework they are load-bearing security primitives. Every millisecond shaved off propagation time is a direct increase in honest P(detect) and therefore a direct multiplication of attack cost.
3. Diversify the incumbent.
The coupling term every node relies on is its peer set. Nodes whose peers are all on one ISP, one country, one ASN are Rupert's drops with a single tail. They shatter under targeted P(detect) attacks. Anchor peers, Tor, I2P, radio, satellite, mesh — these are not paranoia features. They are independent incumbents that prevent correlated tail failures.
4. Make mining pools propagate their own defeat.
A pool above ~30% hashrate is a local α concentration that can selectively lower other miners' P(detect) via withholding. Stratum V2, better template negotiation, and protocols that let individual miners route their own blocks directly attack this by distributing α back across physical nodes. The R0 framework says: anything that decorrelates emission from a single coupling term raises the network's toxicity to attack.
5. Design for supercritical redundancy.
Current security assumes R0 > 1. Toxic security assumes R0 >> 1 with enormous margin. Push honest block propagation latency toward the speed-of-light limit. Increase the number of independent detection paths per block. Make P(detect) so close to 1 across so many independent channels that no attacker can locally depress it without physically owning entire continents.
The Fibonacci Part
Here is where it gets interesting for a dev who likes compounding.
When R0 > 1 the security of the chain does not grow linearly in R0. It grows as:
cost_to_attack(n) ≈ R0^F(n)
where n is the depth of confirmations and F(n) is Fibonacci.
This is not a claim about the current security proof. It is what falls out when you model the honest chain as a multiplicative branching process and ask how much an attacker must spend to reorg n blocks deep against a network running at R0.
The implication: small increases in R0 produce explosive increases in deep-reorg cost. Pushing R0 from 1.5 to 2.0 is not a 33% security improvement. It is many orders of magnitude at depth, because the exponent is Fibonacci.
This is also why the six-confirmation heuristic works so absurdly well. The security is compounding faster than anyone intuits.
The One Move That Matters Most
If a dev only does one thing with this framework, it should be this:
Instrument honest P(detect) in real time, globally, adversarially.
We measure hashrate. We measure mempool. We measure fees. We do not systematically measure the propagation health of honest signal across the network topology. That is the one number whose collapse precedes every serious attack. That is the number that tells you whether R0 is above 1 in your corner of the world right now.
Build the dashboard. Make it public. Make it impossible for an attacker to depress P(detect) somewhere without everyone seeing it immediately.
Bitcoin already has the math. It just does not yet have the instrument.
Closing
Bitcoin is not secure because of hashrate. Bitcoin is secure because honest signal propagates supercritically. Hashrate is one input. Propagation is the other. The product is what matters.
Make propagation toxic to interference and Bitcoin becomes toxic to attack at every layer simultaneously.
The law is already running. The dev's job is to tune it.

Its a feedback tool based on the math formula, it searches accross vertical and horizontal layers for vulnerabilities. Finds them and returns the next necessary action in order to reach inmunity to capture by an incumbent. The key is the sound information must by so widely distributed and self evident that cheating on it makes no sense at all.

The protocol ensures fit accross questions answers and field. Users of the network would benefit from a tool that lets them signal whats valuable, what's working,whats not, what's is the action with most potential to solve the issue...

Thats why IMO the 9 question protocol is valuable (pure info about the structure, nothing about content) and an opportunity to build signal ledger/chain. Each peer can submit veredicts to nostr , or receive the submission, censorship resistant and permissionless. At the rule is based on the cost of cheating its has the properties of inmune to capture steucutres.

Now, when to particles relate, there are always 4 things happening : IInformation/finance or potential energy/distribution or medium /and legitimacy or phase... (Phase for me is the coolest here because it tells where things are moving at. This same 4 pillars also act as different layers.

When they have seats exchanged, thats fiat. Now there are different layers. At the believe system layer bitcoin is II=VV, thats the signal. But at the individual layer it's IV=VI... Layers are important, you work always on the deeper layer where something doesnt feel right. The social aspect of Bitcoin needs us to fix self custody, ot must be cheaper than exchanges, otherwise cheating on bitcoin is easy, noise forms.

This is information theory meeting incentive theory. Shannon said information requires a stable reference to exist. Mechanism design says agents lie when lying is cheap and undetectable. Open Ring just combines both into one condition and asks: does this structure satisfy it?
Bitcoin satisfies it. α = astronomical (energy cost). P(detect) = 1 (every node verifies). Therefore I(B) — price as information — is defined.

A framework for Nostr identity sovereignty
Conception document — OpenRing framework applied
The Inversion
The Bitcoin sovereign/veil addresses a single inversion: institutional intermediation fixed between a person and their holdings. Your keys, their custody.
Nostr has a different but structurally identical inversion — and one additional property Bitcoin does not have.
Run the diagnostic:
Stratum 1 — Protocol layer: APPROACHING SOUND
Fixed: The cryptographic binding of npub to nsec — correct. No platform owns it.
Variable: What you publish, who you follow, which relays you use — correct.
The protocol itself is oriented properly.
Stratum 2 — Key management practice: INVERSION CONFIRMED
Fixed (incorrectly): The single nsec string, stored in one browser extension or one device, serving simultaneously as your permanent identity AND your active signing credential.
Variable (incorrectly): Your actual identity security.
Cost falls on: User entirely.
Type: Accretion capture — nobody decided to conflate identity with signing mechanism. It accumulated from simplicity. The easiest implementation became the default.
The precise statement of the inversion:
Your Nostr identity (who you are, permanently) and your signing authority (what creates events, operationally) have been collapsed into the same string. They should be separated. Fixing this separation is the entire framework.
The Unique Property
This is where Nostr diverges from Bitcoin and the sovereign/veil logic has to be extended.
A compromised Bitcoin key means lost funds. Permanently. There is no appeal. The network has no memory of who you were.
A Nostr key exists inside a social graph. Your followers have a cryptographic record of your previous events. If your key is compromised AND you prepared correctly, the people who know you can collectively attest to a key migration (NIP-41). Your history anchors the transition.
Your web of trust is a native recovery channel. This is not a social feature. It is a cryptographic primitive that Nostr has and Bitcoin does not. Nobody has named it as such. Naming it is the first seed crystal.
This changes the threat model significantly. Bitcoin sovereign/veil protects stored value from loss and theft. Sovereign Signal protects identity continuity from compromise and accretion. Different threats, same sovereign principle, one additional tool.
The Four Layers
The framework separates what should be separated. All four layers use existing NIPs — no new protocol required. The tools exist. The organizing framework does not.
Layer 1 — The Cold Root
Your master nsec, generated air-gapped, used only to issue delegations and sign key migrations. It never touches a networked device after generation. This is your identity. Not your signing key. Your identity. The distinction is the entire point.
NIP: None required. This is key hygiene, not protocol.
Layer 2 — The Delegation Ring
NIP-26 scoped child keys. One per context — mobile, desktop, work. Each delegation is time-limited and kind-limited (you can issue a key that can only post notes, not follow or unfollow). Each is independently revocable without touching the master.
Key insight: You can use Nostr actively on every device while your actual identity never touches any of them. The cold root signs delegations. The delegations sign events.
NIP: NIP-26.
Layer 3 — The Recovery Web
Your trusted contacts who will attest to a key migration if the active layer is compromised. Prepared in advance. Not announced publicly — the preparation is private, the mechanism is technical. When you need it, you broadcast a migration event signed by the cold root. They re-follow the new key. The social graph transfers.
This layer has no equivalent in Bitcoin. It is native to Nostr's architecture and completely underused.
NIP: NIP-41.
Layer 4 — The Key Shards
Shamir's Secret Sharing applied to the master nsec. The shards are distributed to people who don't know what they hold — just that it's something to keep and return if you ask. Recovery requires a threshold, not all shards. No single holder has access. This is the inheritance and catastrophic loss layer.
NIP: None. This is external key management, not protocol.

The Cost-Detection Check
α × P(detect):
For the cold root: cheating on it is expensive (requires physical access to the air-gapped device) and detectable (any event signed by the root without a corresponding delegation is visible on-chain). α × P(detect) > 1. Genuinely constant.
For the delegation ring: each delegation is scoped and time-limited. A compromised delegation key can only do damage within its defined scope until expiry or explicit revocation. Detection surface is bounded.
WARNING on the recovery web (Layer 3): The social recovery layer's α × P(detect) depends entirely on the quality of your actual relationships. A large follower count does not help. A small number of genuinely trusted contacts who understand what they're attesting to is the only thing that works. This layer is nominally present in most Nostr setups and genuinely functional in almost none.
The Seed Crystal
Not a new protocol. Not a new client. Not a new NIP.
A single publishable document — equivalent in length and directness to the Bitcoin sovereign/veil paper — that:
Names the inversion clearly (identity and signing mechanism conflated by default)
Describes the four layers and which NIPs implement each
Names the web of trust as a recovery primitive, explains how to prepare it
Provides exact implementation steps for a person who has never heard of NIP-26
That document does not exist. The NIPs exist. The concept is dispersed across technical discussions. The organizing document is the seed crystal.
What This Is Not
It is not a new wallet or client. Building another interface is not the intervention.
It is not a critique of Nostr's protocol. The protocol is correctly oriented. The inversion is at the practice layer, not the protocol layer.
It is not a complete key management system for every use case. It is the minimum framework that separates the fixed and variable elements correctly.
Status Under OpenCompass Standards
Solid:
The C/V analysis of the inversion (identity conflated with signing mechanism)
The identification of NIP-26 and NIP-41 as the existing technical substrate
The naming of social recovery as a cryptographic primitive distinct from social feature
The four-layer structure
The cost-detection analysis of each layer
Conceptually strong, unproven:
Whether NIP-26 delegation is usable enough in current clients to be the practical vehicle
Whether NIP-41 key migration has sufficient relay support to be reliable as a recovery mechanism
Whether the document alone functions as the seed crystal or whether a reference implementation is required
The prerequisite as always:
This conception was built from protocol-level knowledge and structural reasoning. Before the paper is written, it needs review from someone with direct operational experience using NIP-26 delegations in production. The framework may need adjustment at that layer.

Is this something worth considering guys? 🙏Can you please take a look? With zap polls, prediction markets and the convention to use this tools with futarchy, we can achieve governance conversations instead of tribal wars.
First: Futarchy is a governance idea by economist Robin Hanson built on one simple observation — democracies are reasonably good at deciding what people want, but terrible at deciding how to get there.
His solution is to split those two questions cleanly.
You vote on what success looks like. Then you bet on which policy actually achieves it. The policy with the highest market price — meaning the one that people with genuine skin in the game believe will work — gets implemented. If it succeeds, the believers get paid. If it fails, they lose money.
The mechanism works because it makes being wrong expensive. You can lie in a poll for free. You can't lie in a market for long without paying for it.
Three words summarise it: vote on values, bet on beliefs.
Second: Bitcoin governance has always suffered from the same problem — the loudest voices and the most important voices are rarely the same people. Forums, Twitter, and even Nostr reward performance over knowledge. Someone who has thought deeply about a technical tradeoff for years gets one vote, same as someone who read a thread twenty minutes ago and picked a team.
Zap polls on Nostr partially fix this by making conviction cost something. You can't bot the result and you can't spam it cheaply. The sat cap democratises intensity — everyone gets the same maximum skin in the game regardless of wealth. What you get is a cleaner read of where genuine belief is concentrated across the community that actually runs nodes, holds keys, and builds on the protocol.
Prediction markets add the dimension that polls structurally cannot — consequence over time. When you bet on an outcome that resolves in two years, you're forced to reason about mechanism and reality rather than identity and allegiance. The market aggregates that reasoning continuously and visibly. People who are consistently wrong lose weight. People who are consistently right gain it. The signal improves over time rather than decaying into noise.
Combined, the two tools separate three things that Bitcoin debates almost always collapse into one — what you value, what you believe, and how much you're willing to stake on being right. Keeping those three questions distinct is the difference between a governance conversation and a tribal war.
The infrastructure already exists. Nostr has the polls. Lightning has the payment layer. Prediction markets are live on Bitcoin. The missing piece is the social convention of actually using them together before positions harden — treating them as epistemic tools rather than ammunition.
For a community that built a system specifically designed to make truth-telling cheaper than lying, it would be a natural extension of the same logic into the social layer.
Third: The 3 polls system: The architecture of the three together matters. Poll 1 exposes your philosophical prior before any specifics. Poll 2 forces a factual claim about mechanism that requires genuine reasoning. Poll 3 shifts you from present opinion to future consequence — the most expensive cognitive move, and therefore the most honest signal.
Someone can answer all three consistently or inconsistently, and both are revealing. A BIP-110 supporter who answers agree on Poll 1 has a contradiction to explain. A Core supporter who answers disagree on Poll 2 is making a strong empirical claim they have to own.
The three questions triangulate around the same territory from different angles. No single poll can do that.
Finally: The obstacles that can be fixed easily are the convention to use it and the fact that this poll comes too late (already a tribal war) and I'm not neutral. And I guess the hardest challenge is the resolution oracle itself.

Robin Hanson looked at this and thought — why stop at predictions? Why not use this to govern?
His idea with futarchy is elegant because it separates two things that democracies constantly confuse with each other. Values and beliefs. When you vote for a politician, you're simultaneously expressing what you want society to look like AND what you think will actually get you there. Those are completely different questions collapsed into a single choice, which is why it produces such noisy results.
Futarchy keeps them separate. You vote democratically on what you want — lower poverty, better health outcomes, whatever the society agrees to care about. That's a values question and democracy is reasonable for it. But then, how you actually achieve those outcomes becomes a betting market. Anyone who thinks a particular policy will work puts money on it. The policy with the highest market price gets implemented. If it works, the believers get paid. If it fails, they lose.
The skin in the game part is what makes it honest. You can't lobby for a policy you secretly know won't work, because you'd be betting against yourself. You can't spread misinformation about outcomes, because the market will price it out over time. The mechanism structurally aligns what you say with what you actually believe.
