Da bestehen IMHO große Gemeinsamkeiten mit den deutschen und den internationalen Grünen.
Ich persönlich bräuchte, um überhaupt nochmal wählen zu gehen, eine Partei, die grüne und rote Themen unter einen Hut kriegt und akteptiert, dass man dafür gleichzeitig anti-faschistisch, anti-kapitalistisch und anti-imperialistisch sein muss.

Dann pack dazu, dass die eine Seite aus hauptsächlich weißen Siedlern aus Europa und deren Nachfahren besteht und die andere Seite hauptsächlich braune Gesichter zeigt, dann versteht man auch warum manche glauben, dass deren rechte irgendwie "verhandelbar" seien.
Am Ende ist es einfach nur hässlicher, dreckiger Rassismus, Nationalismus und Faschismus. Alles drei Dinge, die ich nunmal beschloßen habe zu bekämpfen.
Und kein "Aber Deutsche haben eine besondere Verpflichtung den Juden gegenüber!" bringt mich davon ab.

Ich bin in #FrankfurtOder aufgewachsen und muss da immer noch ein-zwei Mal im Jahr hin. Ich erzähl euch mal was das #Stadtbild verschandelt.
- die ewige Tristesse von Gebäuden, die Anfang der 90er den Einwohnern unter der Nase weggekauft wurden, mit Kapital angepinselt wurden, damit man sie teurer wieder vermieten kann, und die inzwischen wieder anfangen auszusehen wie vor der Wende
- die ewige Tristesse der Berliner Strasse, in der immer noch Gebäude von vor der Wende verfallen
- die gähnende Leere; erst in der einstigen Prachtstrasse (Karl-Marx-Allee) verursacht durch die drei hässlichen Konsumtempel ("Malls")....jetzt in den drei hässlichen Konsumtempeln selbst
- das Lichtspielhaus der Jugend mitten in der City....ein Ort an dem Erinnerungen hängen und der jetzt eine Traurigkeit ausstrahlt, die selbst der Poet in mir nie zu fassen bekommt
- die gähnende Leere wo mal der Studentenclub war; der wenigstens um die Jahrtausendwende von Abiturienten über Wasser gehalten wurde, jetzt aber dicht ist
- die gähnende Leere in vielen Gesichtern, die dort einfach nie weggekommen sind, seit mind. 20 Jahren in Stich gelassen wurden und die immer noch als "Jammerossi" beschimpft werden, wenn sie auf Mißstände hinweisen
Und ja....deswegen sieht man immer mehr offen faschistische Hackfressen, weil die eben eine Lösung vorgauckeln.
Sowas verschandelt das Stadtbild.
Was mich immer und immer wieder traurig macht ist, dass selbst scheiß Frankfurt am Ende nur ein Ort ist, an dem Menschen in Frieden leben wollen. Menschen mit Hoffnungen und Wünschen aber eben auch Fehlern und schrecklichen Impulsen.
Ich wünschte ich könnte besser erklären was ich seit fast 30 Jahren beobachte seitdem ich mit 13 gemerkt habe, dass ich da nur noch weg will. Und wie mich das Leben mit Abscheu immer wieder dahin treibt, weil es zwar nicht "zu Hause" ist, aber doch ein Ort tief in meinem Wesen und Denken.
Sowas verschandelt das Stadtbild.
Aber Männer wie Herr #Merz werden das nie begreifen und es ist eine Schande, dass die Ablenkungsmanöver der grauen Männer immer genau da wirken wo deren Abscheulichkeiten gewütet haben.
Nicht ein einziger Migrant ist schuld an diesem Stadtbild.

Ich muss einfach zugeben, dass ich letzten Sommer frustriert wieder aus der Linken ausgetreten bin, weil man sich nicht dazu durchringen konnte einenn da schon offensichtlich faschistisch agierenden Staat als solchen zu benennen.

That's exactly where I am coming from. The ultimate decision to turn fasch marks you as a shit person. But we simply cannot hand-waive away the road pointing to that decision. Everything on that road (late stage capitalism) is a valid reason to be angry about.
If we don't point that out then easy messaging ala "they are just dumb" that liberals flock all the time win. That way liberals can point to Ossis/Rednecks/rural folk and go "They just don't get it!" while they keep doing the shit that makes everyone angry.

I would like to caveat this slightly (there is no real disagreement).
It is still valid that there are factors that drive the anger of those people. *points at everything* Pointing out that these are valid, real reasons that form the grounds fascism thrives on is fine.
Especially you and me know, Dirk, that this is a huge driving factor behind the huge wins for the fasch in East Germany.
But I think Nina said it best: Becoming a staunch fascist requires at some point the conscious decision to hate. A pointed decision to declare groups of people 'not human'.
And once you made that step, you deserve no redemption arc, you get no quarter. Once you are there, you have forsaken humanity and I am fine with humanity forsaking you. Go die in a ditch.
Everything before that step I am willing to forgive and explain. Everything after that is on the monster you have become.
And I think we all go d'accord that voting for explicitly fascist parties by now is that step. You cannot feign ignorance on that front anymore.
