Where the oppression of the working classes kicks in most strongly in elections is in votes being suppressed because people feel so powerless within the system that they don't see it as worth the effort to stand in long lines to submit a vote they're not convinced will be counted for a "lesser evil" candidate who they might expect to screw them over only slightly less. Any candidate they really like they assume the system will treat exactly as it treats them.

An easy way to vote without paying much attention would be to simply follow the money and vote against it. Seen a bunch of ads for a candidate but not their opponent? Odds are better that the one you haven't heard of isn't controlled by literal forces of evil. Also, for anyone who manages or has some control over a public indoor space: clean the air! Use HEPA air purifiers or Corsi-Rosenthal boxes and make sure you have fresh filters. Make sure your building HVAC system is bringing in outside air and running with the highest MERV level filter it can handle. Check CO2 levels. There's plenty of info out there on how to improve & monitor indoor air quality, but even doing just a little is better than nothing and may prevent a few illnesses.

With the guard more than many other state forces, I really do think many are just naive. A lot of today's members weren't born yet when W illegally deployed guard units to Iraq and Afghanistan and their parents weren't alive when Kent State and Jackson State happened. Their image of national guard troops is responding to wildfires and floods. That's not to say they couldn't/shouldn't have known better, but it's quite plausible they didn't.

There have been no confirmed reports of deaths due to the unrest in a few blocks of downtown LA. None. Not even serious injuries aside from people being struck by projectiles fired by police. A few burned robotaxis (which I would not be surprised if they were hailed by provocateurs because whoever hailed them is not ultimately going to be untraceable), broken windows and graffiti are not a real crisis and they're quite common occurrences in places with highly oppressive governments.

DEI isn't about giving people jobs they're unqualified for, it's about ensuring that qualified people get accurate credit and compensation for their work and aren't erased due to their sex or race.
Anti-DEI is about using the history of people who weren't white men being denied opportunities and recognition for the work they did to convince the public that only white men are qualified for prestigious jobs and everyone else is a "DEI hire".

I wish there were more research into how socialized lifestyle differences between women and men affect osteoporosis. Anecdotally I know that every time I joined a gym in my 20s & 30s, I had some trainer tell me not to lift big weights because “most women” don’t want to develop visible arm muscles. Since I was never interested in performing gender conformity I didn’t listen, but I’m sure many women feel pressure to eat & or lift too little for their own good.
