Do people really all wear the kind of shoes that even in warm rooms they wouldn’t want to have something to change in a place they spend 5+ hours at sitting? Even when the temperatures still near zero in the evenings and there sometimes is some rain? I’m thinking of shoe shelves at the entrance for some slippers (mostly just to communicate a dedicated place for that in order to create the demand only then). I currently just know two other people that take their shoes off. (The floor is soft but usually has pieces of metal and wood around, and i wear just knit-sole skit-slippers) What’s your take on this perhaps @npub1n9k…jyt2

It’s sad that the situation has you publish less. Have you perhaps thought of been trying to make something out of it — like finding solutions to how you can cache things, upload things more asynchronously, then sharing what you came up with that was comfortable, or reviewing existing software?
Is your web browsing intermittently affected due to TCP and requests needing uplink too? If so, what available solutions may suit you (for example, one being the recent Offpunk browser that netcaches you stuff in xdg cache into a tour (from a feed or from browsing), then either shows you that in terminal with Firefox’ “Reader Mode” python readability library wrapper or lets you open it in a big browser). The constraints may be an opportunity.

I hope https://bold-editor.com comes out as a good thing, or maybe… ok just launched Lapce, it didn’t crash this time that I am installing it, it seems like it somehow goes the VS Code way by wrapping LSP in own Extensions for discoverability… (and I hope it will work on my other machines too this time)

It’s so hard to use anything other than JetBrains IntelliJ Platform IDEs or Visual Studio Code nowadays. Not wanting to on my private time, and never managing to figure out anything further than just a bit of Helix and a little Kate and opening QtCreator/KDevelop and NetBeans a few times and Eclipse once or twice, made me disprerequisited to deal with code. I gotta give up on that, it’s worse than I kept telling myself
