OK, SO LLMs are basically a next word predictor at heart.. The context they remember is basically the chat history is attached to every input request.. Since they can see all the tokens at the same time so it does not matter. But this gives illusion to the user that LLMs are smart and they can remember the previous context.

I generally hate LLMs when they argue with me though i found out that in offline LLMs under frameworks like Ollama or others you can define the role of the LLM in every prompt in the form a prompt in english language on what its purpose is ... You can program it process raw data or you can program it to pretend to be some character.. They will do as they are told.

LLMs are basically very efficient NLP engines.. The smaller ones can even run on consumer grade GPUs.. even older ones with acceptable enough speed..
Some local LLMs can even do machine translation in various languages like the Open Source Qwen3 model as I found out.

The point to understand here is LLMs are good at fuzzy logic especially they are designed to understand human language. Because the technology used behind the LLMs i.e neural nets are good at recognizing fuzzy logic and pattern.
LLMs are not good at doing maths, calcuations and interpreting predicate logic and stuff like that where precision and accuracy is necessary and the input is generally deterministic.

a) The general impression about LLMs is that they are a one step closer to AGI, that is not the case its just a marketing gimmick, they are not even close to it.
b) Don't trust online LLMs they are generally not secure. Use the offline ones and program them to do what ever you want.

OK, So LLMs are actually cool if you know how to properly use them and what they are. They can do a lot of specific tasks.. You can run opensource LLMs locally using frameworks like Ollama, integrate them into your programs. You can give them raw input data to process then feed it into a variables and objects.
The big strength about them is they are can understand human language really well, can predict text from an incomplete information and they are good in generating human like text.

I think as Wayback compatibility layer gets the official support from Freedesktop.org this is probably the future of X11 and those Window Managers and DE which won't transition to Wayland in time... X11 at least on Linux will exists as compositor on top of Wayland... There wont be a standalone version of X11 in the future..
Xlibre has not get traction from the mainstream beyond a niche... The mainstream often think of it as a joke.

KDE dev says... X11 session will be maintained for now. which means critical bugs will be fixed but less critical bugs won't be fixed unless someone pays them to do so. They don't give any timeline but it will eventually be removed.

Also many of the supporters of Xlibre are somwhat dishonest.. if you read the discussion for example for the proposal to add Xlibre... They say while we find the dev annoying but our main concern is that its still young and its still a one man show.. maybe in 2-3 years if this project gets traction than they will revisit this proposal again. Also they say Nvidia drivers are a deal breaker if they don't work.

So Linux/Unix desktop would be fragmented for some time... Gnome and KDE will be Wayland only... There will be those which would be in between both will slowly transition towards Wayland but at a slower pace and there would be those which would be X11 only..

If you are a user of Gnome or KDE it does not really matter as they ain't gonna support X11 anymore in any form... Even if Xlibre the fork of Xorg is successful it would be for other smaller DEs and Window Managers... Gnome or KDE ain't gonna support X11 in any mform

Whether its Xlibre or Xorg in case of KDE Plasma 6 it does not really matter anymore as X11 support is more or less deprecated in KDE Plasma 6....X11 Plasma session still exists but does not work that good any more and the bugs don't get fixed and it has incomplete features. I was initally a user of X11 session of KDE 6 but moved to Wayland because they have pretty much abandoned X11 session to rot. They will remove the X11 session completely by KDE 7 which will come in 1-2 years.

@nprofile…tmcn On Fedora 42 KDE edition many of the important applications are still X11 apps.. Like Firefox has native Wayland support but Chrome and most Chromium based browsers still run in Xwayland fallback mode.. Chrome and Chromium has native Wayland support but its buggy right now.

Previously I was having bad performance while using KDE 6 Wayland session on Fedora 42.I was like my computer's performance has really gone sh*t and it used to be far better and slow down is weird.. Everything starts OK then it slows down.
Then few days ago I opened my Computer to find out that the CPU fan was stuck by a wire... lol Since that day performance has improved several times.. lol and I did not have any such issues since then... lol

All AI Chatbot including Grok suffer from an issue that they more or less function like a search engine and they have no ability to check the authenticity of an information... They main check an information based on how much probability it has.. Here is the fucking Serenity OS... This is from where the Ladybird Browser comes... Serenity OS is a modern unix-like hobby OS which looks like Windows 2000.. I would say it seems polished though. At least it works far better than fucking Redox OS. Haven't used it on real life hardware though yet. And Its in pre-alpha state its not even where Haiku OS is.

OK, So I compiled Ladybird Browser... Well Its semi usable... It does fail the Youtube and Google Test.. Youtube does not work and you cannot login to Google... Overall its semi useful..

Firefox is Wayland native but Google Chrome, Chromium and possibly all other Chromium based browsers are not Wayland native and they run on Xwayland.. They don't work well in Wayland mode yet and are buggy. Honestly I did not even know until I found out using the command xlsclients

When KDE 6 was first launched X11 session still worked but it is getting worse and worse after every relese. The KDE devs have pretty much abandoned X11 session. Wayland generally works and fallbacks to Xwayland for non-Wayland applications but there still odd application which does not behave well on Wayland or Xwayland so its still a good idea to have the X11 session.

Today I ran the latest version of KDE Konqueror and its not that bad.. Its good that they are still upgrading Konqueror.. Now a days its running Qt WebEngine under the hood which is basically Webkit. So in some ways its not so different from KDE Falkon but it is still way more functional than Falkon and has many more features.

Basically when you give to code something it will predict a code then it will check it whether it compiles or not and checks the user input regarding its satisfaction... Then it will change the weights based on those inputs predict a new code again.. It will do the same process over and over again until there are no errors and the user is satisfied with the code generated.

We need to understand what really generative AI is.. Its basically a fancy autocomplete. It is able to fill and predict missing data by analyzing the data it has given and then look for it in a large database by using neural networks. It does not have any ability to think. Its main ability to predict data by analyzing the data it has given from a large database. The feeling of thinking is basically an illusion. It is because of human tendency to anthropomorphize its surrounding to understand it.

This is probably the best of the AI natural TTS I have seen so far on Linux.. While it does not produce the most natural quality sound but it is optimized enough to be used by a Raspberry Pi 4 and 5 so hence its very fast especially if one use the medium quality and low quality voices it comes with.. hence it can be used for practical purposes.

Truth is Mozilla has always been collecting some user data from both Firefox as well as Thunderbird... They have been doing this for a long time... @npub1wz4…xuw0 @npub1cus…6789 Generally a bad power source is the number 1 reason behind a malfunctioning raspberry pi... it has to have 5 volts of power if it falls below that it can malfunction including corrupting the SD card... Not all mobile USB chargers provide exactly 5 volts of power...

@npub1cus…6789 yeah they do all the time.. that is the weakest point of a raspberry pi.. mine gets corrupt every few months when there is too much power outages in my 3rd world country... But of course Raspberry Pi 4 and CM4 has USB3 ports and they can do USB boot hence they you can use faster USB drives and SSDs.. This one looks like a Raspberry Pi 1 so no option other than SD card.
