The end of Twitter just has a very Tower of Babylon feel. There was this thing that for whatever reason became the place to talk about realtime news. All the people of the world in one place looking at themselves.

2023-07-02 12:23:38 UTC

Welp, for anyone who was following my experiment on Twitter to see how long it takes to get rate limited, turns out about 2 and a half hours, and also now I can't even like or retweet or DM. It's just broken. Glad that Mastodon and Spoutible exist.
