Yeah maybe some more resolution, or start another podcast only about these kind of fights, i hear there's many farmers being squeezed in onenway or another.

it was a short wuick search, to decide if it's a good rabbit hole 😅
olive oil it is dielectric (probably, need to verify)
but higher viscosity than canola so it will flow less easy hampering cooling.
not as high thermal conductivity vs canola and less stable on higher temps.
so yeah, i will toss a nerdminer or bitaxe in it and go from there 😄

i love your/the idea about cows and soil, "where does the soil end and it is a cow"
Is sheep the same? or similar?
context: its easier to run some sheep than a cow in this place and system.
i was thinking sheep is small cow so lets start there and maybe grow to cows.
its dryland semi arid here.

I may be more bullish on nature than bitcoin and yes they are similar.
I am amazed in this dry arid climate how fungi survive and am doing what i can to support them through permaculture.
so it makes me happy to find another fungi pusher 🙂

not that i kow off, but roughly simething like this:
1. I note the port and IP the bitaxe runs on.
2. install and configure nginx with reverse proxy in the rpi, and where proxy_pass is yhe bitaxe ip and port. https://docs.nginx.com/nginx/admin-guide/web-server/reverse-proxy/
3. install and configure tor with hidden service on the rpi. https://tb-manual.torproject.org/onion-services/
4. go back to your nginx config and add the onion address to server_name.
5. pissibly reboot. check some logs and visit your onion address using torbrowser.
Note: you do not need SSL certificates since the onion address works with asimilar cettificate tech.
I have a great time with hidden services, it makes it so I dont need DNS!

Long time no note... been quite busy and offline.
Its still quite cold abd overcast for the time of year here, olants just continue to grow. We went from almost bare dirt to almost completely covered. 🤯
The earthworks terrace growies are alive but all of them show stunted growth, even with the rain we get every now and then. Its what I expected, and am grateful for the berm to be covered.

today partialy clouded, but the sun is strong. A reminder of the heat and dryness coming our way. Thanks to the little growth and tiny earthworks, more water stored in ground.
Today however it's fiat mining day.
Dreaming of getting out there and moving some dirt, to direct water. I'll get to it eventually, it gives me hope and something worth while to look out for. Fiat stuff is draining, the stress of everyday life in fiat society ...

Been a while, been busy...
Had quite many rain events for this area! 🥳
Now we get some sun but moztly grey and cloudy. Perfect for seeds sprouting.

Heres an update on the earthworks I did while ago. Though done crudely and in my opinion unfinished, it does work. Images dont show it well but the center of the terrace is a lot more wet. During the rain there must have been standing water. All in all this is a success!! 🥹🥳 And the berm has many many seeds sprouting. So far mostly oats, lentils, sunflowers, some beans... and definitely NO almonds... mister boar came by and literally ate ALL of them. That's okay, shows I'm getting better at making a boar garden 😉

Got some leftover tasks todo for the fiatmine and help a friend on his cloud project. Will try to take time for a walk to check on the earthworks and seeds after this rain we got. Seeds shoukd start sptouting, maybe even some of the apple seeds!

Its raining,again! And again not too little nor too much!
Some of the seeds start to sprout, I think the flax seeds.
This is quite nice, since, the past years winters where dry. Arid climates are difficult, so I get very happy with these little rain events.
Later today I will go check the earthworks. See if any water is standing, though with this soft rain it all sinks in the ground, but we'll see.

Thick after-rain-fog, but clearing up to a blue sky with some nice sunshine.
Yesterday planted about 1000 fruittree seeds, from fruits we ate. Planted them in a channel which floods with every good rain, like the one from yesterday.
The terrace I worked on has patches of standing water. Not much but 100% more than before the earthworks. Big success, but untested in a heavy rain. Earthworks, when done right is like a gift that keeps giving.
Some wild boar found a tiny berm i built and filled with almonds.... yes, it ate m all and destroyed that berm. I did rebuild it yesterday before the rain, but need to replant the almonds.

well actually its noon...
This morning heavy greys again. Anticipating rain...
Went to the earth works terrace and sowed oats, raked them in as far as that was possible and threw some more seeds on it.
Not sure if i mentioned i did another pass with the tractor, now its finally getting the shape I am working towards 🥳
So we will see what the rain shows us.
The lentils i sowed on the berm start sprouting, fingers crossed they can make some roots before the drought start.
Also planted some 100 quince seeds on top of a terrace wall, which will serve as windbreak and reinforce the wall.
All very exciting and makes me happy

cool! 😮 I wish to visit Wheaton labs someday, it is a bit harder coming from the EU. Else I would hve been an ant for many years...
Yeah, I was initially thinking about a 4" system but I dont need that extea finiky whatsha-ma-call-it. 8" is proven and just works, so I will go with that. My next steo in this is to build an outside J-tube #RMH but need to get the riser materials first...
So many wonderfull projects, quite addictive, and each steps makes me pollute less and increases my happyness.
