I have friends with ETH who are super jaded and have promised themselves to see when it hits 4K. I shit you not every time it gets close BTC dumps 3% and ETH shits the bed.

The biggest challenge for newbies (like my wife) is the thought of saving 24 words. As there is no reset password available. She loses passwords like they are toenail clippings !
That said she has never lost her phone, or cards, or earrings.
So i put it to you that the biggest challenge is still wallets… Wallets that do 2 of 3 collaboratively where the phone is a key and so is maybe a smart watch or a tapsigner, and the 3rd can be reset. No 24 words, no $120 / year… lightning capable also

Before I got divorced in 2015 I knew about bitcoin, I wanted to mine it years earlier but my ex wife wasn’t supportive of me spending on graphics cards.
I didn’t remember it again until 2017 when my friends rang me asking if I was retiring. When in fact I had very little to my name due to divorce and child Support.
Sometimes it’s hard to not focus on what could or should have been. For many divorced men rebuilding assets is immensely challenging. #bitcoin truely is hope as it rewards the patient.
Even if you only save a few dollars every month over time you can heal.

I see all these posts on X about people paying off mortgages early being fools and yet debt is slavery.
Actually paying off debt and saving is the path to freedom.
Why do I say this? Sure if you have debt at 3% securing an asset that increases at 20% there is an argument that you can reach financial goals quicker with debt.
But debt means your time isn’t your own, life is a journey not a destination.

It’s wild to me that @npub15dq…lm5m turned to bitcoin as he was dissatisfied with half a billion in the bank that would get slowly eaten away.
For me I studied how i can catch up after losing 70% in divorce.
