I use Mullvad, but do find it can be glitchy with certain web pages. ( corrects when I switch it off, but that defeats the purpose of VPN if I have to deactivate it. )
Usually when an image is attached, it can often need a page refresh to get the graphics.
Also Youtube will ask me to reconnect to the internet after a period - an irritant, yes, but an irritant nonetheless when running a playlist and it just pauses.

I remember drivechains coming up in Twitter threads a few years ago - and I will be honest, I can't remember the technicalities.
What I do know is bitcoin needs to retain it's anti-fragile properties.
I would have to be extremely sure there were no second order effects before I run anything on my node. ( and I will be relying on the smart boys to break stuff down for me into single syllable works for me lmao )

Unsure on Quantum as I'm not tech enough. I do know however that if they cn break bitcoin with it, there are also serious considerations for the wider world. ( Banking, Nuke codes etc )
For banning.... I'd suggest all that is possible, however, it is the overreach of government and draconian laws that gives bitcoin its value.
In a world where governments are benevolent, bitcoin isn't needed at all. It is the tyranny that makes bitcoin needed. The more tyrannical the environment, the more a neutral, immutable and uncensorable money is needed.
This actually makes the governance process within bitcoin essential to preserve.

Funnily enough, even if you are a CB proponent, at this point you have to question their performance, and whether they 'deserve' the position they hold.
1. Mandate banks to hold treasuries.
2. Raise rates and devalue those very treasuries they make banks hold.
3. Watch as it crushes banks that need to sell their holding for operational reasons.
4. Step in when the damage is done, and close down said banks.
It's crazy to me. The one job they have - provide stability to the moneetary system - and they completely fuck it up.
Worse, you could say they cause at least some of it.
Ineptitude top to bottom. Much like politics lol

Yep. They can be skins or something in a game, but the tether to a meat space item is still dependant on enforcement of the law - and if it is the lawmakers confiscating your meat space property, pointing to your coinbase wallet does nothing.
