I saw someone else on another Mastodon instance also wrote in a markdown format. Not sure if it's properly rendered.

One thing I notice is that Mastodon can render markdown format well when a post is sent from another instance (e.g. from Misskey).
But if the post is sent from Mastodon itself and shown on Mastodon, the markdown format doesn't render.

ic ic, tq for the advice
So, for each opened file, create an inotify fd and monitor for IN_DELETE_SELF.
I feel a bit bothered knowing the fact the number of fds will double due to inotify :ablobcatnodmeltcry:

@npub1am9…995c [@LLENN08](https://hiradai.space/@LLENN08 )
(( update on my HTTP server progress ))
I found a new problem with the file table serving.
Case: When I have a ./public/index.html file and it is accessed by the client via HTTP, the web server will open() the file and save its fd (file descriptor) to the table, so next time it's accessed, it can just use the saved fd instead of opening it again.
This mechanism also makes it possible to serve multiple clients that need the same file using only one fd, saving system resources (the offset is managed separately for each client, handle read via pread(2)).
The similar method is also implemented for the mmap() variant of file serving. Except that it doesn't need to call pread(2).
Now the problem is, when the file is deleted from the filesystem (e.g., via "rm ./public/index.html"), the fd in the table is still valid, and the server will continue to serve the deleted file to clients until the fd is closed (e.g., when the server is restarted).
Putting a new file with the same name (e.g., "echo 'new content' > ./public/index.html") will not affect the existing fd, and clients will still get the old deleted file's content.
For now, my workaround for deleted with is calling stat() on the file before serving it, and if stat() fails, I close the fd and remove it from the table, forcing the server to open() the file again on the next access.
But if the file is deleted, then recreated before the stat() call, the server will miss the deletion and continue to serve the old content.
What is the most reliable way to handle this?

This week's gold price movement is a historic move. We cannot ignore it. I'm very confident that we will see a substantial financial crisis in the near future.
Giving ourselves a time window until 2030 for preparation will leave us too late to actually get prepared. I don't feel good about it. I think we should narrow the preparation time to 2028.

Persiapan menghadapi banjir extreme jakarta:
- life vest / baju pelampung (minimal 2, sesuaikan jumlah anggota keluarga)
- perahu karet
- tas rangsel darurat
Kalo tinggal bersama keluarga, pastikan semua anggota keluarga tahu lokasi tas darurat, life vest, dan perahu karet
Isi tas rangsel darurat:
- powerbank
- makanan ringan tahan lama
- minuman botol
- korek
- peluit
- senter
- pakaian ganti (untuk 3 hari)
- handuk kecil
- obat-obatan pribadi
- charger HP
- uang kertas minimal 1 juta (gw recommend 5 juta sekalian):
- misal pecahan kecil (2rb, 5rb, 10rb, 20rb) total 1 juta
- pecahan besar (50rb, 100rb) total total 4 juta
(( pecahan kecil untuk mempermudah transaksi ketika ga ada kembalian di tempat kita ngungsi nanti. ))
- fotokopi dokumen penting (KTP, KK, SIM, etc.)
- HP cadangan (SIM card lebih dari 1, beda operator):
- Pulsa minimal 100rb di semua SIM card
- Kuota internet harus ready di semua SIM card
- selimut emergency aluminium foil (jangan bawa selimut kain, biar hemat tempat)
