1. Public transport would be great.
5. With routing, it would be nice to have a way of forcing a route via a particular road for example. Sometimes, when I try and add intermediate points, and I get close, but don't actually get to the point, it keeps trying to send me back there, and there's no easy way to delete the point once i'm past it so it ignores it, especially while driving...

My uncle was forced to write using his right hand, and it caused him to have a speech impediment.

It's interesting to see buildings that you don't normally have access to, but it's a shame when buildings start falling down and cant be repaired.
We have so many in the UK, it's a shame more aren't able to be reused.
Sometimes it's due to restrictions because the buildings are "listed", and this puts people off because it can be a nightmare to get planning permission to change things.
I get the reason for it, but at the same time, I'm sure we're losing old buildings that could have been saved 😕

Pavel Odintsov gave a good talk about trying to make his home network only use #IPv6, and disable #IPv4: (https://pavel.network/building-gateway-to-access-legacy-ipv4-internet-from-ipv6-only-work-laptop/).
He had a problem with Desktop Signal ignoring the AAAA record and only using the A record.
He had to add some unbound config to force AAAA-only resolution. This was caused by Node.js, which is what the Signal app was built using.

It depends what you're trying to get out of it.
I was really looking for a replacement for Reddit, as I never liked the twitter format (not enough characters), so should have tried #Lemmy instead, but I've been on Mastodon for a year now, and only just joined a Lemmy instance (I failed at trying to install my own).
It takes a while to find people on here to follow, but it's worth it.
Never tried the Bluesky or Threads, but I don't want to because people can't run them themselves, although I know that's not a particularly good reason for everyone 😝

I only really got into linux around 1999 and chose SuSE as that was the "supported" distro at my work.
Before then I'd tried an early Slackware and I didn't get very far.
I really liked the SuSE install process and I still think YaST is the best installer.

A bit quieter as a few people were on holiday, and no livestream, but still worth going.

I've not used one for worms, but I shred paper for rabbit bedding when we have it (eventually it will be composted!). I bought a second hand one cheaply and it is good. Note - get one that has a decent rating - # of sheets they can cope with is of course on a good day and when all of the pages are completely flat - no creases. Each crease is equivalent of another layer.
We had a 3 sheets shredder and it could only really cope with 1 sheet if it wasn't completely flat :(
The one I have now is rated for 18 sheets, so I don't really need to care how flat everything is. It's great for the brown paper that delivery companies use to pack parcels - rip it into 2m sections, fold it 2 or 3 times and then feed it through 😀

Yesterday we (@npub1gc5…ad9p and I) helped https://bunnyjackpotfoundation.co.uk/ and https://shrewsburyrabbitrescue.weebly.com/ deliver some #rabbits to foster homes from volunteers that had rescued them from a meat farm that closed. Hopefully the cuties will get to loving permanent homes soon after a trip to the vet. The conditions were pretty grim - small, cages half-full of maggot-infested hay, and they all have ear-mites 😭
