Also... first time hearing Alan Parsons Project albums. This second album (like David Bowie's Diamond Dogs, which was originally supposed to be a whole album based on Orwell's book, 1984)... I see that Alan Parsons project duo wanted do to a whole album based on Asimov material, but they did not get the rights to do that, so they made it vaguely related to themes of that Asimov world.
Definitely a slight Pink Floyd 70's vibe, considering Alan's work with them.

Totally agree on that, and also... yes, the first film is great. I looked for Big Top on DVD, but it's hard to find. That chick... I think she was in Hot Shots... very cute.
I was surprised about the Netflix movie he did as Pee-wee before he died. Despite the gay undertone, it was a funny road trip flick. Also they did huge digital work on Paul, which wasn't obvious to me.

I think I vaguely knew that there were sequels to The Howling, but I don't know that I saw them. I also mixed up Albert Finney with The Howling, but he was in Wolfen, and I can't remember if that movie was good or not.
Back in 'Murica, my one acting buddy liked werewolves, but said, compared to vampires, there aren't many good werewolf movies. Newer-wise, sort of... Ginger Snaps was okay, I guess.

Interesting that they show the concentration camps with the Boers at the start of the movie. No lisping Samuel Jackson or crazy Elton John action sequence in this. The Rasputin bit was the closest to that...

Definitely not as good as the TV movie The Last Days of Patton, because Peter is not in this as Lawrence. This was Ralph Fiennes first main movie. It was interesting to see a representation of the cut-up policy of the region via Great Britain and France. They do play on the homosexual insinuation of Lawrence for sure. One scene makes it clear in this movie, he has no interest in women.

On the tour I did, and I and the others were careful not to probe too much with the guide, but at one point he talked about monk spies. They want to install a pro-China Dali Lhama.

Looks like a smiley diverse bunch.

3. Say Cheese! Stand in line to take a photograph for your army ID card. Rumor has it whoever smiles in their photograph will become an officer… act accordingly.

I wouldn't need this guy's computer screen. I used to enjoy uncloaking bots and designing questions to uncloak them. It's a fun skill, like popping packing bubble wrap.

These are not current numbers. I think this is from 2021.
I wish I can find a similar kind of comparison including top countries naval wise.
And with new missile and drone warfare military tactics, I am sure that vessel numbers and types will change from country to country.

I hate posting something that is a deep fake AI. I accidentally did it for sure one other time, twice at best.
Doh!
This YouTube page was taken down.
I'd like to see a website of confirmed strikes on all sides of the war since Feb. 28. I'm sure that can be tallied of "definite confirmed hit" to "likely" to "possible," mapping Israel, Iran, the Gulf countries, and Lebanon.

I'm a permanent resident. This is my home. But let's see if I would ever do any of the 7.
1. nope, wouldn't do that anywhere in the world
2. not a smoker/not applicable
3. I don't do this, but I see some younger Koreans do it... but they always get up for someone who needs it
4. I don't do it even in my own place, unless I have to run back in for something
5. I've never done that anywhere, even the U.S.
6. I don't even own a mobile/smartphone
7. not a tipper anyway

Yeah... 'Murica might even go the Ukraine route of vans rounding people up.
It's sad to see what was once my home sink so low.
Maybe they'll chip and death collar the prison population and entice them fight, to get rewarded if they survive.
That's rather sci-fi dystopia deal, but you never know. 'Murica still has the biggest prison population.

What a weird early 70's movie... I'm thirty minutes into it. It was on my Movie Roulette list because Bobby Darin was in it (his last role before he died)... it was filmed in Nova Scotia (good scenery), with a pre-Happy Days Ron Howard... I have no idea where it's going, but it feels a little Twin Peaks to me at the moment. It was directed by Darren McGavin of the Night Stalker series.

It's a mostly HEART OF MIX... gold, stone, chrome, glass, fire, soul, and so on.
Song conversations.
But I'm sure I have enough hearts for a non-"of" mix.
Toss in any "HEART" songs (not by the band, Heart, but in the song title) that you like

This is short-term theatrics. I haven't heard any retired military or military analysts painting a good picture for the U.S. as time goes on.
Iran is using much restraint.
Maybe 'Murica and ash'Rahl has some new trick card up its sleeve, but otherwise, it's a new warfare era of technology.

Eye know, eye know... enough of the EYES already. This is V (the others are all in the hashtag), and the last... I'm going for the HEART next. But having Napalm Death and They Might Be Giants on the same mix, or Carl Perkins next to Judas Priest... and so on... it's like a wacky radio station.

Out of curiosity, what kind of raw ingredients are you using? Is it farm-bought, or do you have farm animals where you are?
I haven't had pepper jack for a while. Cheese aren't big here in Korea.

Do you like Korn? I had friends getting into them at the time, and I thought the music was interesting, but I just couldn't get into the lyrical focus. Nu-metal to me (to be real nu-metal) was kind of whiny self-analysis.
Like, for example, I do not consider System of a Down or Static-X to be nu-metal.
Also, there are other bands pre-Korn who had self-therapy and kind of whiny topics, who I have in my collection... NIN and Life of Agony.
What's your take on Korn?

Hmm... I haven't listened to a news aggregate type thing since No Agenda, which I stopped listening to toward the end of 2023. Mostly I listen to stuff focusing all on one issue.
I liked the moving about from area to area on this. Anyone have a geo-politics news stories aggregate (from all corners of the world) that you listen to?

Interesting... I didn't know it was an early one for Russell. I did see American History X long ago. That might be interesting to see again.
Someone could probably make a movie about the skinheads near where I grew up. I was in the Wilkes-Barre area of PA. Metal, thrash, and punk bands would often come to two venues down in Allentown. Allentown was definitely an area with skinheads.

Somebody here recommended it, because I was mentioning one of Tim Roth's early films where he played a skinhead... and early 80's BBC flick.
It's great when people here toss back movies. I stick it on the list... 😀🍻

Doing this language exchange thing for the past two months here in Korea on weekend... it's a two-hour deal, where you have three groupings of four people at the table, and every 40 minutes, you're shuffled to another table. It's three shuffles per night. The place is in a bar/dance club, and after it ends, if you stick around, you can get a free drink.
It's been quite interesting. There's been people from lots of countries there.
