Why doesn't mempool.space discard old unconfirmed #Bitcoin transactions from their mempool unlike others, e.g. Blockstream? It seems that mempool.space keeps them forever without rebroadcasting. It looks like their custom policy.

Higher fees have been driven by spam and not by adoption. Also, #Bitcoin adoption will have little chance to increase if friction (spam and fees) does not subside.

I find it hard to believe, sorry. Anybody who transacts daily can feel the severe pain from 100x increase of the level of fees on #Bitcoin and weeks/months of delays of the first confirmations. For others, the Coinbase outages are more of an issue.

The alleged high fee "solution" doesn't work. #Bitcoin has already been spammed for long time (more than the amount of days that Barry Silbert owes users $$$).
Wouldn't have Ten31's businesses fared better if spammed hadn't clogged #Bitcoin?
