I must have missed something, why are those channels closing?

My new "Tower of Power!"
2 Orange Pi Zero 3
2 Raspberry Pi Zero 2w
1 Radxa Cubie A7S
Running 2 instances of pihole, a music server to stream music from NAS to our stereo system with Music Assistant. I haven't finished setting up the radxa or the second orange pi yet. Gotta figure out what to put on them.

This sucks. I was planning on replacing my NAS drives this year.

Made my garage door opener work with home assistant.
Wired up an esp32c3 supermini as the brain. Hooked a relay up to a spare garage door remote, and added a reed switch to tell us if the door is currently open or closed. No more "Shit, did I leave the garage door open?" and having to turn around and go check.
No cloud crap or subscriptions either.

I have gotten some new hardware and the podcast-chapters-to-video now renders at less than a minute per minute! If I had a good video card it would probably go a lot faster.
Pretty exciting stuff.

Happy birthday to @npub1kga…9vap !
Cheers mate!

We ran the ffmpeg encoder thing on this week's episode. Everything came out as expected. I especially like the audiogram and animated gifs.
It took about 3 hours to create the video of the 1 hour show. I am going to try it on better hardware, I am currently using an old minipc that was slow when we bought it. Here is a sort clip of it working.

Short demo of the PodMaker3000 (name is not set in stone)
Also, my soundboard webpage is in there.
It's my all-in-one post production tool I made using "AI".
I am hoping to get it adapted so that anyone can use it, but right now it is too much of a mess to release and it would only work with my wonky folder structure.
Let me know what you think.

It is part of my all in one podcasting 2.0 podmaker 3000

2025-01-25 23:31:15 UTC

I got the video maker working.
It uses the chapter json file, transcript file and mp3 to create a video of our show. No AI, just ffmpeg running on a minipc.
Here is a sample using a test set of files.
The mini PC I'm using has a slow celeron j4115 so the video takes a while to render. Like 2 minutes per minute of finished product, but you don't have to do anything, it just does it while you wait.I will do some tweaks to make this go faster. Also, may move this whole thing to a better pc.

I produced a full cast audio drama version of "A Christmas Carol" a few years ago for my podcast
I consider it my best work to date.
The cast was amazing.
Hopefully you will enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.

Please don't think I was accusing truefans of anything. I just noticed a weird thing. I also found something funky with podverse where helipad was showing that I was getting 2490% of boosts.

@npub1thg…zq23 I was looking at my helipad and noticed that when I get a boost or stream from truefans I am only getting a 70% split. All other apps are 82%, as I have it set in my feed. Do you know why that would be?

Podfest was much more fun and creator focused. Hopefully they continue to lean that way.

Just got back from Podcast Movement.
I will just say that there were a LOT more brown dress shoes than sneakers, and a lot more neckties than I ever like to see at a get together focused on something that is a hobby or passion project for most of the people that do it.
