I did this for about three years. I'd watch a CSI episode on the treadmill. It worked out to about 50 min and 500 cal of exercise. And there are enough CSI episodes that I never ran out.

Yep, just landings. The traffic pattern is a rectangular course around the airport, used as the normal entry/exit path for planes going in/out of the airport. Pattern work is just flying that pattern repeatedly for practice.

Clown world.. Funny thing is, incandescent bulbs are inefficient because they produce waste heat. CA is pushing for electic heating vs. natural gas. Running an incandescent bulb is exactly the same as running an electric heater. Zero energy waste in the winter months.

I've seen the Coinstar kiosks but haven't used them. I checked out a Bitcoin ATM at the mall several months back, and it was set up to scan a drivers license and take a photo of the individual. The fees were excessive, around 12%.

He might be referring to notifications. Android is pretty aggressive at killing backround apps. To really do background notifications on par with SMS, Snapchat, etc. you'll need to use the Android push API.
The client could tell a push server 'watch for type 4 messages to my nsec on theae relays', the push server would listen, then send a push to the client telling it to wake up and check for the DM. The DMs remain secure because the push server isn't working as a proxy and doesn't ever need the client's private key.

I've been using Nostr for about 6 weeks, and the data usage on mobile is rough. I'd like to see a Nostr chat-only client for mobile which subscribes only to type 4 (private chat) and type 42 (group chat).
Couple that with a web service which listens for those messages and sends an Android/iOS push, and we'd have a direct replacement for Snapchat, Signal, etc.

The request would need to be signed by the leaked key, similar to an SSL certificate revocation list. That affrms that either 1) the owner requested the revocation, or 2) the key was leaked and someone else requested the revocation.
The same mechanism could be used for de facto account deletion, if all relays honored it.
