I am not able to move beyond this point when creating the swap. I don’t have a big amount in there but I would like to still get those sats out. @npub1lnm…rrnt

Why in the world are people still paying attention to Luke in 2026? This guys was already irrelevant in 2020. He only has bad ideas for bitcoin. He was able to help one time in the past but that doesn’t give him a pass for everything or validates any of his dumbs ideas.

That’s ok. The point of the passphrase is to not entirely trust the entropy generation of the device you are using.

Would it be a bad idea to force people to add a passphrase? Not like make it mandatory in the wallet creation flow but make it really hard to skip.

I never did this for myself. All I truly wanted was for my kids to have a head start., something they really owned and would help them either in education, buying a home, whatever... I was never in for my own "gains".
Whirlpool, coin control, swaps, no-kyc, mining... I run my own nodes, my own mempool . space server, fulcrum, etc... At the end of the day, none of that mattered. I would have been in better hands fully KYC'd in Coinbase... Really sad.
This is so many times worse than all the other schemes we have seen over the years in the space. Heartbreaking. @nprofile…dnhq was able to infest the core of honest and hardworking people that only wanted security. We trusted too much. You deceived us too well.
Will he show any type of remorse or responsibility? I honestly don't think so. I think he is willing to down to the grave thinking he is and always be "right".
I don't blame people like @nprofile…cd8v or @nprofile…l2yj . There is a chance they were deceived too. Beyond the wild conspiracy theories flying around.
What is disappointing tho... is that they seem to already have "moved on"... Looking at "what's next" and how "bitcoin grows from here". While hundreds like me are left empty handed. We were just guinea pigs or just collateral damage I guess.
On the positive side, I am hugging my kids harder now. Enjoying every second more with them. Giving them more time and attention. Feeding what's really important in life.
This is just me venting and letting some thoughts out. Have a blessed day.

Thanks for showing up, but I would like to know what will you do to help those that didn’t have time to move out funds??? We just move forward and forget about it? Is that what’s left for us? @nprofile…rapz @nprofile…h93p

Still users can’t be blamed. Coinkite should be held accountable of their negligence.

2026-08-03 02:14:04 UTC

Exactly. I don’t get why I see people here on nostr and X saying things like “in the remote case funds are recovered"… the reality is that this is a product liability and negligence case. Coinkite and joint entities should be sued. Class action. I am down to jump on that train but I don’t see any traction building…

Do it all for your Family. God and Family will be there for you, always. Even in the darkest day.
If you are affected by what just happened, don’t lose hope. Don’t make any rushed or harsh decisions.
Take time to breathe and think. Hug your loved ones. Go to church. Take a walk on the park. You will figure it out.

10 years. That’s what I lost in a second last night. Future savings of 4 children and one more on the way. All gone.
My reputation here on primal is none but I have been around for years in The Sovereign Bitcoiner. https://t.me/SovereignBitcoiner
I woke up this morning to a message from a friend. Ran out of bed to pull up the wallet. 3:34am the time it all disappeared.
My kids will never know. Or at least for a long while. They were stolen a different bigger future. 💔

@ODELL @NVK @MartyBent I have been disconnected from all socials for years. I am one of the original admins at the OG Sovereign Bitcoiner Telegram Group. https://t.me/SovereignBitcoiner
I got drained last night. It may not seem much for others but it was my life and family savings. All gone.
Like I said, I haven’t been around in socials for a long time and didn’t catch this vulnerability on time. I checked this morning and nothing was left behind. I can provide proof of everything given the right time and place.
This is a very hurtful and critical situation. I ask you take responsibility and have compassion with all the families affected. There is no way I can recover those 10 years of Bitcoin savings ever again in my lifetime.
