Amethyst is certainly running better but I wouldn't use the term "butter", it still needs work. Nostros runs pretty smoothly but I'm not feeling the UI really, so I bounce between it and Amethyst.

You have been generous (to me as well as countless others) the last few days. So after testing nostr for a while, I have decided that I will be sticking around for the long run. However, I am going to switch to and begin using a vanity key that I created. This means that I will be needing to repay and join relays. If anybody cares to drop some sats for this, I plan to migrate over to using my new keys either tonight or tomorrow morning.

There is only 2 things that can help with these things.
1. Better education on the subject
2. Legalization or at minimum, decriminalization. When things are illegal, young rebellious kids are enticed to try. This has been proven to work in parts of the world where drugs have been decriminalized.

Amethyst shows a check mark on myself and everybody I follow. Wasn't sure if that was a verification mark or just to show I followed. Seems like I've seen a lot of people I follow with checks asking about verification, so had me slightly confused.
I guess I could have used my own domain and done it.
I assume I can switch to doing it that way in the future if I decide to stick with nostr long term?

Perhaps it will cause some of his followers from Twitter to give Nostr a try if they wish to interact with him.
I do also understand your point tho. The Fediverse has a lot of bots crossposting from Twitter accounts and it can get a bit annoying. The only bot I willing follow is Snowden.
I'm more curious if crossposting between Nostr and the Fediverse is possible.
