FFmpeg 8.0 has been released. A new class of decoders and encoders based on pure Vulkan compute implementation have been added. Vulkan is a cross-platform, open standard set of APIs that allows programs to use GPU hardware accelerators. Rather than using a custom hardware accelerator present, these codecs are based on compute shaders, and work on any implementation of Vulkan 1.3.

Kdenlive was recently released. This release brings improvements to the background removal tool using SAM2. The background removal tool now uses less memory consumption. There are two ways to refresh a webpage in Firefox.

There are too many videos online with the audio source not synced properly. This can easily be fixed in OBS.
Step 1. Launch OBS Studio.
Step 2. In the “Audio Mixer” section click on the gear icon at the bottom-left corner to open the "Advanced Audio Properties" window.
Step 3. In the "Advanced Audio Properties" change the “Sync Offset” value from the audio source. Generally, 0.5 seconds is about 500 ms.
Close the "Advanced Audio Properties" window when you are done.

Blender 3D does not natively support OpenFX plugins. While there have been discussions about adding OpenFX support to Blender in the past, the differences in licensing has not helped. OpenFX has a BSD license while Blender has a GPL license.
Also, Blender's compositing system handles nodes differently than OpenFX.

Most video editors on mobile devices are limited. Perhaps this limitation is due to the limited processing power mobile devices offer. Because desktop processors have higher clock speeds and fewer power restrictions than mobile devices, applications like 2D and 3D animation, photo editing and video editing are better done on desktop computers.

"AgX" is a newer color management system that generally offers better color accuracy in brighter or overexposed areas when rendering 3D scenes. "AgX" is replacing "Filmic" as the default color management system used by Blender and Godot Game Engine.

@nprofile…pp8q The language was initially called "Oak" after an oak tree that stood outside Gosling's office. Later the project went by the name "Green" and was finally renamed "Java" from Java coffee, a type of coffee from Indonesia. Nothing about kitchen appliances on the Wikipedia page.

OpenShot is a free, open-source video editing application that works on Linux. It is designed to be easy to use and learn. Unfortunately, OpenShot lacks many features compared to Kdenlive or Shotcut. But I will say that the "Cosmic Dusk" theme is the most beautiful theme in OpenShot.

KColorChooser is a color palette tool, used to mix colors and create custom color palettes. Using the dropper, it can obtain the color of any pixel on the screen. A number of common color palettes are included, such as the standard Web colors and the Oxygen color scheme.
