PS. Jesus is referred to as "The Word" in scripture. That comes from 'logos' from whence we get 'logic'. Logic isn't Jesus but Jesus is the embodiment of logic, among other things.
So as to the vagueness of god or God, there are only 5 options to the answer of, 'where did anything/everything come from'.
1. Everything came from nothing naturally. Nothing comes from nothing and nothing ever could.
2. Anything/everything created it's self. A thing cannot be A and non-A at the same time and in the same way. Logic...
3. A thing or everything is eternal. Laws of thermodynamics deny this. Eternal material systems are stagnant. Motion requires a prime mover. Aristotle.
4. Everything is a figment of your imagination. This can be shot full of holes with some simple observations. Argument to absurdity.
5. Something (someone) at some point created.
I have found no 6th option that isn't substantially the same as one of the 5 or some combination of them. Only the 5th is logical as I see it.
From there, the Bible answers best as to why that something created anything, that this something is personal and wants to relate with us, and how He does that and how we can relate back to Him.

Not to be difficult but, you already know the answers.
How does one feel strongly about anything? Through knowledge and experience.
How does one have a personal relationship with anyone? In this case one must first except hat the person is a person. No person, no personal relationship. After that? Get to know them. Exchange value for value with them. You're in the hole there and always will be. We (who believe) owe Him everything but, attempts to pay will pay for nothing. We'll give because He first loved us. Add this to knowledge from the first answer and we'll find how he interacts with us in His Word. This will give us the experience.
If Jesus is the center of the question then God is not a vague concept. Those two are fairly well identified and described in The Word. If it's vague to you, read more of those words. That's where the knowledge that can lead to experience comes from, His Word. Commentaries and theologies can come later. Start with what all those commentaries are commenting on. Let them later help you after you have first thought for yourself.
And of course, no. You'll never get there. It's an endless journey. Once the relationship is established there is no end of the rabbit hole. Just how far down it you wish to dive. Every inch has it's trials, tribulations and rewards.

I'm pretty sure WoS didn't give you a seed phrase. It was custodial and you backed up by simply setting an email and password. They have that but they can't download the app on their iPhone because WoS withdrew their app for American customers.
I'm just wondering if WoS had a way to return American's their funds still after all this time. I emptied mine in Nov of last year when the news broke.

I was reading how micro-dosing could help Alzhimers (my Mom). Not a cure. but emotional help. Problem was, it's not my thing and certainly not hers. She would not approve of an all out trip. Plus, she is advanced enough that it could be a bad experience. However, I/we have no experience and no way of knowing what a "micro-dose" of shrooms would even be. Then, not being connected to source.... there is prison.
Something so effective and so simple yet so far out of reach. It's criminal.

I got interested in climbing a few years back to save a bunch of money on tree work for limbs over my house. It was kinda the same except I was able to find more primers to get me started. Now I can do my own tree work... SAFELY, and I've helped some family and friends with my new skill. There is a lot of stuff to know and jargon, teniques, tools, styles, math and such that go into climbing for fun or work. However, finding a place to start with that was a whole lot easier than getting started doing any kind of developing or coding, at least as far as my efforts are concerned.

New to code pleb.... FOSS projects....low hanging fruit for badges and green streaks on gethub, who's own documentation is just as jargon soaked.

Diluting their holdings. Yes and No. They have a wallet with the current rules as would everyone. It has addresses with balances. New rules are applied by any miner as a hard fork. He has created a new chain with a new wallet. The wallet he has on the old chain still has exactly the same amount of coins under the old rules. He now also has that exact same amount of coins under the new rules in a new wallet. Effectively doubling the total number of coins. Theoretically, the value per coin is split in half but the volume is doubled. Time and the market will decide if his total holdings on two chains are worth more or less than the original value on the original chain would have been. Note I called them old chain and new chain. The market will also decide which one is 'real' Bitcoin, not simply the longest chain.
Yes my opinion is the longest chain should be called BTC and Bitcoin. In the fork, my number of coins double as well. I would probably pretty quickly sell my coins on the new chain and by more coins on the old chain. This mass action is what will make the longest chain, show where the value is considered to be and determine who is best and is BTC.
A new chain with more coins would dilute that value, on that chain, as your percentage of the whole would be smaller. Lets say they doubled the 21mil market cap to 42mil while the price was at $10 but, people loved the new chain and it's price quickly went to $20. I have that smaller percentage but my $ valuation remains the same, plus I still have my coins on the old chain. The old chains coin value should go down in this scenario but the over all market could expand with new money and keep them both up in price. Not likely but possible.
The miners biggest disincentive is the wasted electricity and downtime on what is historically a loosing proposition. BCH did okay for a while but look at BSV and others. They quickly lost a lot of hash power and turned out to be a pretty big waste of miners efforts (money)... but some do still mine them.
Further if there is a hard fork. My node does not just look for the longest chain. It looks for the longest chain that complies with the rules of my node. The new chain's blocks simply would not be validated by my node as it didn't follow my (the old) rules. I either update my node to the new rules or I stay on the old chain no matter how long the respective chains are. I could also fire up a second node for the new chain and have both two wallets and two nodes while the market decides the winner.
Lastly, a 51% attack can do a host of bad things and cause a lot of major problems. One thing it can't do is change the core set of rules simply because they have the majority of hash and thus require new rules like some kind of hostile takeover. That would require a hard fork whether 51% went with the new chain or not.
My confidence on this reply is fairly high but I could have some details wrong. Also, sorry so long.

Liquid is a federated and mostly automated trusted third party (Blockstream and their federation partners in this case). Lets pretend they are me.
Give me your bitcoin on the main chain or through lightning. Me and the federation will keep it safe. We'll give you our asset (liquid) in exchange. It has cheap tx fees and is faster than the BTC main chain. You will own your keys and assets will be in your control... on our chain and within our federation/partners. Oh, we have other assets on the Liquid network you can trade for as well with very low fees. We're a lot like a shitcoin exchange in that way except don't think of that. We like to call it investing, "in companies you believe in without relying on a broker or bank." We'll preserve your privacy. You can't spend your Liquid assets in as many places as BTC or lightning but we're working on that.
Not saying it's a bad idea. Just describing it in simple terms.
Lightning? Run your own node, process your own payments. But, manage your channels yourself to keep liquidity balanced enough to spend and receive. Or, trust another third party (lightning service provider LSP) to keep good liquidity for you at a small fee by running a giant routing node that'll get your BTC anywhere quickly.
In short they are complementary in some ways and competing in others.

It's in great shape and I never use it anymore since I upgraded. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. It needs a home anyway, and if it inspires dedication, I think grandpa knows how it feels to receive gifts from listeners. Not a new key. A new address. Yes in the same wallet. Just click on what ever button is for receiving. If there is another button for 'new address' click that (most good wallets give you a new address each time anyway). Copy that address to the clipboard. Then go to send, select all the BTC you want to consolidate and paste in the 'receive address' you just copied. (check the first and last few characters to make sure you have it all)Pick your fee and hit send. This is also called a self-send. Most consolidate UTXOs within the same wallet unless there is something wrong with the wallet.

As he said toward the end. The legacy actors have shareholders. If they can and do cause a fork and THEY choose one for THEIR customers, THEIR customers ONLY get only one coin. I get both. They can pick one for their customers because they have custody. Not your keys..... They don't have custody of my coins, nor should they yours. My node, my rules. They don't just need a bunch of coins, they need a bunch of miners and a bunch of nodes to change the rules. Sure, some or even many miners will follow their lead until it becomes less profitable. The difficulty will adjust and tick tock next block will continue for BTC. It's not like this is something new. The Block Size Wars showed us how this will end.
They'd fail at their fiduciary responsibility if they chose one fork, but that's not my problem. He also repeated that everyone he complains about is only interested in NGU. Many of us on 'team orange' as he calls it aren't in it for NGU. That's just a byproduct. A price crash from a Legacy system dump only benefits HODLers in the long run while it will weaken team legacy. I will have more of what will always be BTC and they will have legacy's version which will eventually fall as it will basically become a fiat. Over 50% of the total supply is in the hands of HODLers. If team legacy finance dumps it, they'll have even more. The volume in stable coins matters little as they are all fighting over the small % which is for sale. The volume is high because of traders and speculators. As the trading supply reduces even further due to ETFs (which by definition will move toward Hodling status as well) the all important (to some) volume of stable coins will drop as well except as it correlates to the rise in price of the assets it's chasing. I don't know anyone who holds stable coins for anything except trading. It's the only place it makes sense. You either have stable coins to trade with a goal of increasing fiat or increasing your chosen crypto. Winning and loosing will depend on your end game goal. Mine would be increasing BTC but I don't trade anymore.
So, lets say the new system won't let you buy real BTC on their system or without stable coins. What becomes of their new coin and the volume of stable coin trade? There are already markets outside of the legacy (regulated) systems. They'll just grow and multiply to meet demand. Yes things will become more difficult. But, we always knew it would. Regulation always promotes black and grey markets. Hundreds of attempts at various prohibitions have shown this for thousands of years. You can't stop an idea or product who's time has come and is in demand.
Rough waters ahead? Probably, but what's new. 'Then they fight you....' has always been on the horizon.

The assumption is that liberty gives us all of that or at least that it can. All the things we want are down (world wide aggregate) since The Enlightenment told us we wanted liberty and we began to reach for it.
The truth is if you don't have a basic minimum of those four, you'll trade all you liberty for as much of them as you can get.
The more a society has libertarian freedom, the less health, prosperity, happiness and safety it's members have on aggregate. Bigger winners, more loosers. BTC is merely the hope that I get to be a winner in this cycle.
Be optimistic. Because BTC will fix a lot of things. It won't fix them with Enlightenment principals.

Almost forgot I had a meat slicer today. I bought a 4lb pork belly. I had decided I'd just try my hand at slicing it with a knife. It'll show up soon after entering the mempool as 'unconfirmed'. You'll get at least one notification on the first confirmation when it is included in a block. You'll see a circle on the line item for the TX. It's a pie chart with six slices, one filling in for each confirmation. It will remain until you have 6 confirmations, then it's a done deal and the pie chart will go away.

These are facts. Here is a possible ending somewhere down the line. (think gold):
The custodian, who is very close to the money printer (if not conspiring with it), sees the looming collapse. Tip for ya. I do use Ancestry dotcom. However FamilySearch.org is free and easier to use once you get the hang of it. I use them both. Now.... guess what? Both are owned and operated by the LDS church (the Mormons). They run on a very large percentage of the same data bases.
One notable difference. FamilySearch runs one global family tree and everyone is free to work on it. Therefore you might, from time to time, find that the tree is tweaked a bit on one of your branches by someone else. They may be right... they may be wrong. In general it improves with time like wiki. Because of this method, you might just enter in a couple generations back and suddenly a connection is made and the entire tree from there back is pretty much complete.

A small zap to get you started on uploading your podcasts. It costs 10k sats for permanent 2gig of storage. I couldn't find where you could host your own videos as he said in the his presentation. I assume that is coming or it's tech that's over my head at the moment.

I think it has potential if it catches on. When fees get way too high for you and me to operate on the main chain, we can move large spending chunks into LBTC with only one TX fee. There is some trust involved with the node federations backing 1:1 with BTC, but if they do (verifiably), then our value would be maintained while getting lower fees in spending. Much like gold backed paper that should be easier to audit and verify.

Oh... one last thing.... Don't set up any wallets in the Green mobile app to 'play' with if you plan on deleting them later. You can't. You have to uninstall the wallet to get rid of them.

I'm looking into lightning on Green now so I looked around a bit for that too.
1. Set up a LBTC wallet in Green.
2. Go here: https://help.blockstream.com/hc/en-us/articles/900000630846-How-do-I-get-Liquid-Bitcoin-L-BTC- You'll see that the easiest way is to buy it on an exchange that will let you withdraw it as LBTC. There is a tutorial for SideSwap there. That's what I would use.
SideSwap is available for ios, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux. It'll be another wallet but if you are only using it to swap it should be empty most of the time. Be aware of fees. Like lightning there is a BTC onchain fee to peg in and out. Also like lightning the fees are lower while using LBTC (which currently has pretty low adoption for regular use.)

Oh and technically Paynyms are not 'from Samourai'. It's a payment protocol already within BTC but as far as I know only Samourai and Sparrow have implemented it in a wallet so far.

Craig Raw gave us Sparrow wallet. It's free and open source. It is BTC only. The best desktop/laptop wallet out there, period. It will connect to public nodes, private nodes, TOR nodes, Electrum nodes, YOUR NODE... It is coded to work with Whirlpool and Paynyms from the Samourai team. Works well with almost all hardware wallets. Links where you can read to get caught up. Feel free to ask questions as well.

Samourai runs Whirlpool (sorta... mostly). Samourai has an awesome Android wallet but no desktop. Sparrow is desktop but no Android (IOS is just out at this point). You can have the same wallet in both Samourai and Sparrow so problem solved. Whirlpool is a CoinJoin system where the ownership of your BTC can be obfuscated better than anywhere else.
