No no, I'm glad to get nudged. I think about how I haven't concluded the mug story everyday and if you didn't poke me I might have faded out from embarrassment 😐
I'm also famously bad at sending presents, I still have friend's birthday gift unsent from February 📦
The "bad at sending presents" thing is a trait I inherited from my grandmother, who sends us Christmas puddings that expired 4 years ago 🤷‍♀️

Surprisingly terrible and surprisingly three hours long 😱
The mug has been waiting to go into the kiln for a good two months😵
I've even been filming and editing together a "making of" video so you will be able to watch me go from double hoodie and sweater to single t shirt and shorts as I procrastinate my way through the process 😎

I went to see one of my friends at their university's a capella society concert and it was surprisingly terrible. Then I went mushroom hunting and got about 30 mosquito bites 😞
Overall a bad day, 2/10👎 👎
Today after work I swung by an antique store with a friendly owner. Had a good chat.

I think short spurts of social activities after work might be better than full days off (which I often find unfulfilling). Hmm.

I've gotten really into Game of Thrones lately, and I've been listening to the audio books non stop from when I wake up to when I go to sleep. Great fun, but I find myself going to bed well past midnight which is not good 😬
In other news, some horrible insect has cut down my tomato seedlings. It's probably a grub in the ground, I shall have to go digging for it. All my basil seedlings have also been eaten, and now I know why planting them directly into the garden does not work.
I should make a tiny greenhouse so that I can start my seedlings early next year.

Crow update!!
Roberto and Matilda (the crows) have been visiting with a third, slightly smaller (!) crow.
Assumed to be their child (probably a teenager, as baby crows don't leave the nest until grown), crow 3 is skittish, and I have been unable to get a picture of it. It's also very loud, and screams all the time, like a chick waiting to be fed. I have thus named it NOISY 🥳

I've been helping my friend, doing interpretation for a client and other language related tasks, so I pretty much have a fourth job now 🤦
One of the trees next to the studio had a big branch that was almost torn off, and Sensei complained that it was ugly so I climbed up to saw it off. It was the first time I've climbed a tree in ages. All my strength went into trying not to fall out, and my legs were like jelly when I got down.
How do children climb with such ease? When did we stop climbing trees?
Top tip for anyone inspired to go and climb a tree: only grab/stand on branches that are thicker than your wrist, and never climb after it rains. 🌧

I helped my friend pack up to move out of the city, and I feel sad 😔

I'm the youngest, so by the time it was my turn to come out my parents decided they knew enough to DIY (older sib born in professional birthing pool)
There was a distinct lack of pain in the stories, until a few years ago I genuinely thought people who talked about pain had just "done it wrong" 🤦
