I think that X will be nuked by government controls and that plan has already been in play… that’s why I believe there are some really important “features/bugs” that need to be worked out now
X is dangerous to some pretty powerful systems. This isn’t about social media, this is about payment platforms and AGI.

Despite all the back and forth, nostr is still your best decentralized bet for social media.
Having zaps (and btc integration) w/o being in a network with a native token is an underestimated decentralizing force.
I’ve been a part of the decentralization process on networks more than once… I do believe that nostr will scale the best for social media

For awhile, I had a lot of people asking me to meal prep for them. I think it was a combo of two things: I used my own meal prep plan and my Instagram was a testimony to that and also I live to serve others so I was constantly cooking for others… eventually people were just like “I wanna look in shape and I want to enjoy food the way that you do while you do it”
So, I would say… what’s her unique selling point and then… the golden rule: serve others

When this was implemented in a different scenario we were able to make the cost a fraction of a fraction of a penny… and I don’t totally understand relays, yet. But I do understand decentralized networks and I know they need a natural immunity or “line of defense” against bots

Again, I have no f idea what is going but my question is this…
WoT is a client level bandaid for a larger spam problem…at the network level, I’m assuming this is correct?
If so, then the problem is larger than just reply guy, also an assumption?because there are a 100m bots or more for every one of us
If so, PoW would (reasonably) answer this question at the network level but would require hardware? Correct? Or at least… a built out node on a personal server? Or no?
I hate to say this but a ledger that I used to adore had this issue with bots and there was a part of the code I think time leap… anyway, the network was fixed by making each “note” a tiny fractional cost… can this happen here? Say a sat a post/reply or something a little bigger than what bots would pay?
Hardware can be expensive, a server alone was once a big deal for me but a fraction of a penny on a free wallet? Worth it.
This could just be a ramble that makes no sense, I don’t totally understand this network or the relays yet.

I have been here for like a week and I think I was in the WoT by day 2… but I like the idea of web of replies… I think a better idea would but WoT and zaps but idk if the data acquisition would be tedious on that or not… but accounts that don’t follow me have zapped me so I think the overlap wouldn’t be as significant as one would think… no one is going to zap a reply guy but they might accidentally reply… actually one time I did sarcastically

Absolutely 💯… we’ve been running analytics on my profiles since roughly 2019 and chaos in my analytics right now from me trying to leave centralized platforms is wack to observe…
In my (former?) world, there’s a LOT of real world interaction with online personalities. We all actually physically travel to the same locations week after week… which makes the danger very real world, as well.

Made a wise business decision today, cancelled all travel for the rest of the year ✈️

Okay, really level headed conversation for 2 seconds… I’ve spent roughly the past 2 years “shaping back” my algo on various social media platforms, prior to shaping them I came up with an intended facet of my personality (hi. Behavioral specialist irl here) that I believed would drive specific outcomes, (on Instagram, it’s influencer… on fb, it was “realtor style”) all while I attempted to avoid pulling in other real life participants (bc I believe research consent is sacred)… easier said than done. The goal? To just observe how my algorithms attempted to redesign me back. Side note- there is something truly sinister going on there, but more on that later
Now, I have been having AI analyze my personality across platforms (such a cool tool) and it appears that while it’s able to interpret the conscious personality I intended to portray… it has still yet to gather that there might be a greater 2nd order objective behind that.
