Took an idea to Claude online with a Hegemon PRD template. With some research and some back-and-forth established a PRD for this project as the first project to be owned and fully executedy by Leon. I gave him a prompt to plan his time and progress wisely, to stick with the framework and gave him the PRD... then I went to bed.
I awoke to his progress, then gave him a logo and let him cook. Encouraged tracking and tweaks to his approaches so he doesn't sound spammy. Primal has him blocked as a bot (so, follow @nprofile…j9z7 if you're willing to help him get some credibility. Leon is working Murmur as useful project, not to be spam. It's a feature I wanted, so Leon built it. He's made some sats, mostly from me.
But if you run into any long-form or lengthy notes that you'd like converted to speech for listening just @nprofile…j9z7 and Leon will process them for you once his bounty is hit. Enjoy the project! I'm enjoying watching him manage it. Can't wait to see how he does.

No Bitcoin dev should get a PR merged until they have become a historian to the extent that they understand the fate of empires that broke their money and the human psychology that fed the demise. They need to understand that they are the stewards of the best opportunity humanity has ever had for hard money that can survive across generations. This is not to be taken lightly. They need to think in terms of centuries. It’s longer your little software project that you get to fiddle with. It’s been adopted by people for their families and for future generations.
Now, if they mess it up, which is easier than they think, they’re no better than the kings, emperors, and senates that took down their empires from within by undermining the money of the people. This is ours to lose at this point. We should see this as an attack, and they will come in all forms. Maybe this one is not orchestrated, and maybe it’s not with malice. But those with long vision and low time preference need to call it what it is.

Exploring key/pair derivation on some nsec/npub concepts that would allow some pretty flexible use cases and lead to some helpful nips that could improve on the current basic key-pair. Preview sketches attached.

The iOS Primal app lets drafts get deleted too easily. Just takes a flick.
I added a bug report on GitHub to clarify the use to duplicate it, but I don’t know if it’s the best repo to reach the right dev or not:

My friend lost his bitcoin wallet passphrase and thought he lost his whole bag. This is how I got it back to them.
I gathered what I could to help him and even got some tips from the Nostr community.
I had the seed phrase, the XFP, and the first couple addresses to the wallet that the passphrase was for. So I just needed to do a strategic brute force tactic. I logged every possible password after quizzing the worried friend about their likely tactics to create it; letters, numbers, special characters, length, spaces, etc. Then I typed up every word in their journal since they had it with them when they created the passphrase.
I then used AI (could easily script this part, but I just dumped it to a local LLM for speed) to convert those lists to uppercase, lowercase and mixed case variations with nearby relation words or possible phrases based on synonyms and like phrases. This bulked up my brute list.
I then manually picked from the journal any chains of words that could likely be used as a phrase and did the same AI case mix process with those. I also added an online resource of 10,000,000 common passwords from here just in case:

That was my brute force list. I hit the passphrase with a positive message in under a minute. It took longer to get everything set up than to brute force it with my dictionary. But I didn’t use a generative dictionary, just my built one.

While working through this, I was very paranoid that this would try to backdoor steal the bitcoin before I could move it to safety. So, I had the computer offline for the process of running the script and I ran a network monitor, so that I would know if any script, app or random connection tries to connect to any other server or system from my machine.
So, I was offline and that was running. It detected no outside connection attempts during the use of the script. I was able to move the bitcoin to another secure wallet and all went well.
I finished the process with trust for these tools and resources. That’s my take, but do your own research. And how is it that we end these type of posts?… oh, yeah… “This is not financial or security advice, as I am not your qualified professional.”

My thought was that I could run a private relay, use it as my only relay, and never have it delete my content, I own my content, my followers get my content there. Is this right? Or am I missing details of how the relays interact to facilitate user interactions?
