Seems like it would be a great tool as an add-in for mobile wallets.

To clarify, I'm not so naïve to think several other large institutions haven't already considered this. I just haven't heard anyone talking about it, probably for some logical reason that I'm not considering.
Seems like an organic evolution with much better outcomes for all parties especially with a 10-15 year horizon.

I think it would be a beautiful thing to have a bitcoin only life insurance policy.

Simple vision is purchase a policy with bitcoin by the unit for a defined term. Policy units are modular and additive but paid in full up front. Bitcoin held 1:1 in multi-sig custody until term expires or death benefit is distributed in bitcoin.
Obvious follow-up question - if the infrastructure is ready, what regulatory impedences would need to be satisfied?
Not expecting you to provide all the answers but if you think it's a worthwhile pursuit I'm willing to put in the work.
