Simple vision is purchase a policy with bitcoin by the unit for a defined term. Policy units are modular and additive but paid in full up front. Bitcoin held 1:1 in multi-sig custody until term expires or death benefit is distributed in bitcoin.
Obvious follow-up question - if the infrastructure is ready, what regulatory impedences would need to be satisfied?
Not expecting you to provide all the answers but if you think it's a worthwhile pursuit I'm willing to put in the work.
