I have not tried frying one yet, but will be. Interesting that the texture was different as well. Other than being massive, they aren't really all that different from chicken eggs. I kind of want to try a hard boiled one as well, but likely won't, seems like it might be a little over the top.

I had this same experience the first time using it. Then I did it and left it at temp, which for me was 125f while I got the coals rolling. I closed up the Kamado and let it get absolutely ripping hot, thermo read 900f and when the steaks hit that it was about 1 minute per side very nice sear and then the other side. Rested for 12:34 because OCD or something and it was perfect! I dont use it often but I do love the results.

We did this for our wedding so maybe some ideas will help.
We printed invites via an online service, nothing super fancy just simple and nice.
We cooked the main dishes (smoked whole prime rib and Low Country Boil (frogmoore stew if you are in South Carolina) and did some smoked jalapeno poppers (Atomic Buffalo Turds), with sourdough bread bowl's filled with spinach and artichoke dip. We had some guests that brought a few of their favorite sides as well. We hosted it in our backyard and rented chairs and a large canopy thing in case of rain. I think the cost was in the 4k range at that point. It turned out perfect and we made it more of a backyard bbq which kept guests stress down because no need for suits etc.. for attire. The invites were awesome, you might be able to find the template online by searching for "Eat, Drink, and Be Married".
There was definitely a good deal of stress getting everything ready, but overall that removed the stress of needing to coordinate others and worry about vendors being on-time and doing what they said they would. For me, it was the perfect way to do it, without the pomp and circumstance, surrounded by good friends and family, eating amazing food, and enjoying the company while celebrating the newlyweds (us!).

His resistance as far as I can tell, is not necessarily with the portion presented to the "public" but with the portions the "public" is not being told, or was/is hiding in that very same legislation. Meanwhile efforts to remove this crud, single issue legislation, has been trounced on. I would argue that is not a terrible thing at all, instead it is at least one person, yes a vile politician and deserving of ire and skepticism like all of them, at least pointing out broader issues and attempting to stop crap that is not good. Passing legislation is rarely a good thing, in most cases it is the equivalent of a Trojan Horse meant to further strip liberties, privacy, and fundamental rights through loopholes and absolute fuckery.

Its true, but also not. The paradigm shift from being force fed content by an algorithm to choosing what you see needs to be explained better I feel. Also some form of category or interests, topics, something that was a bit more upfront to help fill feeds with something more than dev/devops/vibe or BTC Maxi stuffs would really help. Once you lean in and try to make it yours though it becomes a wonderful experience.

It is a wonderful experience and one that I am 100% in on. I spent a little time on Xitter today, wife asked me how it was and I thought for a moment and responded with one word, Depressing. That was all I had to say, no wow moments, no this is really cool moment, just pure unadulterated depressing crap. A supercycle of rage baiting, doomscrolling, shilling, grifting, cess pool of garbage on fire. All of it designed to bait you into conversation/interaction, if you can call it that, with people that value human life about as much as they value a single square of toilet paper. So, depressing seems like a fitting description.

Hey, im just pointing out that an arm of law enforcement that has zero jurisdiction over the people in the article, is effectively kidnapping people and claiming some legal authority to violate their constitutional rights. Im not arguing the righteousness of anyone, nor am I arguing the morality. If the constitution is the "supreme law of the land" then people's constitutional rights have been infringed, and that isn't cool.

I recall waiting for my father to get up on Sunday to get the paper, I wasn't allowed to mess with it first (this was more of a game than anything else), then I would go and ask to read some of the paper, which caused an eyebrow raise and a question, do you want the entertainment/variety, or the stocks. I would then ask to take a look to see which one, then grab the "funnies" or "funny pages", which would create some laughter. I have been thinking about this since that conversation and miss the cartoons a good deal.
I think my favorites were Peanuts and Garfield.

If you haven't tried popcorn on the stovetop with @nprofile…ncnc yet, you are seriously missing out. Give it a shot, you'll love it. 2 to 3 tbsp Great Ghee with a single kernel, when that one pops remove and add 1/2 cup popcorn and shake it shake it and continue until popping sounds drop to one every second or so then remove from heat whiles shaking. If you like you can shake shake shake, shake your seasoning.. I know cornball but whatever.. into the pot as well, salt, smoked salt, all purpose whatever, herbs, whatever you want. Its good stuff, and easy to make.

I love the article, one small note. We just did this with a JBM Peaberry and it added a bit of bitter and acidity with a wonderful chocolate note, to an otherwise very wonderful but extremely muted and super balanced coffee. The difference became something that had a very slight bitterness with zero tang and a feeling that sweetness laid right over it with a somewhat bolder coffee flavor coming to the front and then leaving you with a taste in your mouth like you had eaten a very small bit of amazing chocolate and followed it with a very well balanced and very light acidity coffee.
TL;DR good with coffee must try.
Also forgive my absolutely stupidly long run-on sentence(s).

Yeah it takes a bit to learn how to find people and "categories' of interest. Once it gets rolling and interactions start it flows pretty nicely. I have found its more about the change from being spoon fed interaction and moving to actually having to find and engage. Kind of like old pre-internet dating (Nostr) vs all the apps (X et al.).

Digital freedom that comes with human terror in the form of JDAM and other munitions. We have lived on this rock hurtling through space for millennia and yet we somehow have not figured out how to stop killing people for compliance, resources, and submission. Its a sorry state of affairs and we have zero reason to consider this an "enlightened society". My $0.02

The real weirdness happened with Quake, Doom, and Castle Wolfenstein. Honestly Quake was one of my absolute favorite games and rivaled everything that has been made since. Fast paced, fps, with class based capabilities was a concept we hadn't seen before and it was sublimely glorious.
