Been using SimpleX w my family, close friends & work colleagues (when we need to avoid Big Brother Teams) for over 18 months now. Have it running on iOS, Mac OS, and Start 9. I still think Keet renders photos, videos & calls better, but SimpleX is a champ for text messaging.

Connection to the characters is the key ingredient, methinks. ABC gave Lindelof / Cuse and the writers a long runway to develop the characters on a deeper level than most shows allow for today. In the case of #LOST, not only does the viewer connect with the human characters, but the island and musical score are characters that add to the quality of the experience.

Been a Delta guy all my life (SLC hub). Decided to give #hawaiian airlines a whirl for our anniversary trip to Kauai. It was kind of a hard thing to do (felt like I was leaving miles towards status on the table), but I think I’ve finally convinced myself that loyalty & “status” with brands is a sh*tcoin idea in general.
The flights with #HA have been awesome, personnel attentive, and the food in FC has been tasty. Starlink service has been flawless, to boot! Will be looking at them for future trips to the islands.

I’ve been using Evernote as an archive of important docs, art projects my kids made that I didn’t want to physically keep, ancient family photos, etc. It’s time to self host this stuff, and I’d like to do it using my @npub126n…e9ll Pro. I’d like to keep as much Evernote parity as possible (tags, folders, etc).
I realize I could go to Start9’s Telegram channel and ask around, but I’d prefer to get a broader list of suggestions (and I really dislike using Telegram). The closest thing I can find on the official marketplace is NextCloud, which may or may not be awesome. Any suggestions from fellow Nostriches is appreciated. Migration is going to take some time. I was an early adopter of EN, and I have a ton of stuff to move…and I only want to do it once. 🙂
