Just finished up with the first stop on my mini-tour at The Canopy Club in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
Great crowd showing up for some #deephouse love till 2am.

Also of note, if you wanted to make it useful just point it at processes or programs that are hogging your RAM. It will give you a window into what it's really using and if you want it will fucking cut their nuts off for babysitting RAM.
Half the windows processes borrow memory they don't need and never give it back, Narcissus solves that problem of you want.

I was fucking around with #Golang tonight building out a RAM scanner/clipper for blue team use and ended up creating self obsessed agent that panics when it sees its own RAM usage get cut.
It was too funny not to keep. So I give you Narcissus, the self obsessed RAM observer lol.

I increased the threshold of the RAM clipper function because it loops once triggered. Since it only sees its own RAM in this config it exponentially doubles it's usage opening PowerShell windows and trying to clip its own RAM.
So if you run it blind and it hits 2 mb (it's tiny) it basically becomes a RAM eating black hole over time.

Giving some feedback for a bounty.
I know nothing of the project, so this is a blind read. Here we go.
Introduction
1. "symptoms of a sinister and longstanding root cause" - though this is spot on, it comes off as hyperbolic, Since it hits in the first paragraph it may turn a good portion of readers off, especially those on the fence of whatever issues this essay is looking to address.
If the goal is to bang the drums for an existing following, this is a good strategy, if the goal is to spread this mission and gain traction, this could easily turn people off who are towards the political "center". Consider the use of other language to make this point. Words like misaligned, malignant etc may be better linguistically for payload delivery.
2. As pointed out by exist270 the use of "—" instead of "-" throughout is an artifact of AI use and common amongst the bot slop plaguing the protocol and TCP/IP. It's a dead give away of AI writing and in the content writer/reader world it is considered lazy use of AI. The local writing agents I have trained have it locked out in their .md file so its impossible for them to use.
On a another note, from an SEO perspective this will not only negatively affect your search rankings, but will almost certainly lead to a Google "no index" internet prison cell that is very, very hard to get out of. Our agency has clients with websites that took us a year to get back on Google as a result.
3) "Ultimately, [a] shift to sound money
returns power to citizens as responsible stewards of Canadian values, culture and resources." Added "a"

1. I haven't made it passed the first paragraph and the overall feeling is "they suck, we're the answer". The language comes off as inflammatory so far and has the feeling of trying to make the reader emotional. This fits directly in with the existing paradigm of the world wide political landscape which most people on protocol are here to avoid.
2. "Protective Gaurdians" is redundent
3, The first paragraph doesnt require structural edits. It should be noted that to this reader it comes off as noise, not signal.
I cant tell you how many guests on podcasts from The Sean Ryan Show to some random guy in Perth with 8 listeners go on for days with the same paragraph.
Finding a way to add something new, which may well happen later in the essay, should really be here. Its your hook paragraph and even though I am on the side of the language in it, I already know from the first 5 words "the current fiat system breeds politicions who..."
My brain switches off, solves for X, Y and Z and now what would be a dedicated reader is skimming the article looking to see if there is actually any meat in here or just broth and meat flavored cabbage.
4. Sound money without citing a reference - "sound money such as [X]" - leaves the reader ungrounded, they may wander off.

This sentence needs to explain to the reader the "why" guardians do this as a result of "sound money". The reader needs to know the why, not the will. It comes off as unbased and relies on serious faith from the reader in these "guardians"
6. Again, as the reader, I am left with an empty feeling as to why or how these guardians will suddenly shift the power back to the people.
What incentive does said guardian have to do so? Is it simply because of the implementation and use of "sound money"?
As I stated before, that may well be addressed later in the article, but I would likely never find out if it werent for the bounty - and I am a believer in the cause from the looks of it - at least I think... I just don't find hanging out in echo chambers useful.
7. I think if you do something as simple as changing this essay structurally it will benefit you greatly in landing with the reader. In example, I would suggest changin:
"This transition liberates
citizens, making government a servant, not a master, in addition to restoring affordability by ending currency inflation and limiting wasteful spending on bureaucracy and wars."
to:
"This transition liberates citizens by redefining the role of the state; specifically, it restores affordability by ending currency inflation and limiting wasteful bureaucratic and military expenditure."
It cuts out the fat of "master and servant" while clearly stating it. People who are servants often dont know they are and will simply fight you about that narrative.
There is no way telling a person they are a servant will wake them up to the fact they have a bad master.
Think about the idea of bondage and kink, people often love their masters and wouldn't know what to do with out them. Convincing them they need a better master is a different scenario.
If you applied the structure of that one sentence to this entire article I believe you would benefit greatly
If really need the war buzzword then "wasteful bureaucratic and military expenditure on the maintenance of a perpetual state of war"
Consensus Changes
1. Its obvious the beginning of this paragraph is a switch from AI to human written. Having a human fully rewrite the essay would fix this problem.
2. As rule, I would suggest that no paragraph contain more than 3 sentences. This comes off as an albatross of text. Readers are fine with a labyrinth that's engaging, this paragraph looks like a chore.
3. While all of this information may be true, that if Canadians stand united they have the power. If people want to hear that narrative, they need only throw on some Niel Young songs or Buffy Sainte-Marie to get this point.
4. sound money is again being dragged like a dead horse here with no explanation of what solution is being presented, only that the solution is in this... sound money. What sound money? Are we talking about Bitcoin here? Or are you pitching a CNG shit coin at the end of this essay? Just saying.

6. Policy 3 is the first paragraph in this essay that actually proposes something concrete. This needs to be at the beginning of this essay as a "tag line", not buried in the depths of an AI generated bore fest.

These points need to be addressed here. Also, Policy one and Policy 2 are cannon fodder, this should be policy one, the others fall in line with the implementation of this policy, not the other way around.

1. Here we go with that unexplained "sound" word again. It wasn't explained what sound money is proposed in the first half in regards to money, now it most likely wont be explained what it means in governance. It reads like the prompt given to whatever AI put an emphasis on that word without giving it a definition.
2. Personal responsibility and calling for its reclamation through civic duty to country might sound powerful. But you are asking for a tired, broken people to stand up, go into the system that broke them and try to fix it. If comes off arrogant, out of touch and ridiculous. What reason do I have to do so if I am Canadian? Simply a birthright burden to a system that enslaved me before my existence?
You write like you want rebellion, then come off like a time share salesman telling a family who came there for the free air fryer what a great investment it is to take responsibility for two weeks a year on the island of... wherever. The same family who took out $15k in debt on credit cards for their 9 days a year in paradise that you just took up and hour of.
I got bad news for you there, they aint buying.

You are saying this right after telling people they have an engrained civic duty, this makes no sense and comes off schizophrenic, like you speaking out of both sides of your face.

I get that you want to drive this point home, but on this protocol it comes off like you are a know it all sitting in a room full of people who have been here done that with currency.
If you are using this to send into the walled gardens of TCP/IP, it may work. But on nostr it comes off like a person going to Africa on vacation telling a tour guide they feel like they were born here in another life.
Yeah, we know buddy. Now move along, we have twenty minutes to get to Victoria Falls for the sunset photo op you paid for.

7. There is a lot of changing from we, to you and back in this essay. We need to do this, its you that has the responsibility, only together can we, if you do this. It should be noted.
8. Holding institutions accountable has worked historically... never on a long enough timeline. So talking about the need for decentralization while calling for a centralized need to uncentralize the center... I think you get where I am going with this.
9. "Canadian Man of God to join the Canadian National Guard."
You just effectively dissuaded 39.5% of Canadians as of the current consensus.
I will leave you with this. The essay could use a rewrite. The foundation is unclear. So the whole house is falling down.
It comes off as a desperate, out of touch, government agency trying to use keywords to reach out and sway a populous they know nothing about... on a protocol who's people value the very keywords you are using as a way of life.
This would be akin to explaining why Allah is the one to God to a Christian. Or me, an ordained Dudest Preist, trying to tell you... Well nothing, the dude abides.

I have never released a single story. I just can't seem to bare the idea of putting it out into the world for some reason. But I was thinking to release at least some of it here.

I love watching things grow. How they take shape, what gets added and taken away along the trail.
I've been on the @nprofile…6jw6 wagon train for a few months now and have seen some of the cool functionality take hold in that time.
Little things that are big to me like @nprofile…g8ue adding the "note to self" function to the app.
Being a dev, he could easily hide away from it all, but he doesn't seem to and that alone is something refreshing I notice about #nostr in general so far.
Some of the nPubs like @nprofile…eyhh or @nprofile…z8ms etc I would never expect to notice a comment from me, yet they do. I am just some DJ/producer who moonlights in the codeverse when I can. I have 30 followers and fuck knows why any of them took interest, but I'm certainly stoked to have them, whoever they are.
This post from the founder of Nostria is what it's all about for me. Though I may be responding on a different client, that is simply a result of finding it here first. Another thing I love about Nostr, cross platform.
I can't actually imagine what a post like this from Zuck would look like. I'm not really trying to shit on the guy or FB, but it's so foreign an idea to me.
FaceHook to me has always been a weird experience. It's strange to be inside of something that you cannot in any way communicate with in a traditional sense. I can't lodge a complaint, I can't ask for functionality or say "what the fuck? You took away the only thing that made this product worth a shit to me!"
There is no one in there, only you and the other captive products who's lives are packaged not too dissimilar from your own.
So seeing a founder post about why they do it, what it's all about to them. That to me is a window in to what Nostr is right now and will hopefully remain.
I want Sonder to "make enough money to do this for a very long time" as he put it in this post. I get this feeling that if he does, he will be living his best life by simply continuing to do what he loves and giving #nostrheads a solid social offering - one where you know who is behind the curtain.
I dont know him, we have never met. So this isn't a nepotism qoute-post. I just like the product so far and want to see it continue and gain ground.

Man I'm glad I follow you guys. This is one hell of a read for those who want to dig deeper into #nostr protocol. I've found nostr-tools helpful, but I am not building anything close to the level of you guys. So just watching the discourse is incredible with all the input in this thread.

@nprofile…emr3 seems like a great IRL tactile experience for people. A necessary physical connection for some that transcends the idea of Blockchain from random math that you just trust because... well just because and drives it home for people with play and outcomes. That is cool.

Well. Take into account #preciousmetalinflation which believe it or not will be a thing in less than a decade most likely.
Right now there is a finite amount on earth. But not for long. #spacemining will flood the market with gold, platinum and others. That will change the standard.
Of course, the mining companies can do the same as was done with diamonds. They are essentially just as common as quartz, just mined and hidden away to inflate value. #variables

So this is really cool. I like the idea she is talking about with basically nano funding larger projects through onboarding devs for smaller parts of the project. Sort of a modular approach to both funding and development. That is, if I am hearing this right, I am a dance music producer not a dev lol.
Then aside from that the CYPHER MUNKHOUSE visit she mentioned is super exciting. That group looks absolutely wild to be around and fits my ethos as a DJ spot on. Rebel style, the way #techno was meant to be!
I wasn't aware of this event in Asia, but our little crew is bumping around SE Asia on the regular, so would love to be involved somehow. We produce large scale events similar to Burning Man (pre 2012) around the world.
The whole two to three minutes is jam packed with useful info. like a protein bar. Definitely listen to this if you see it around #nostrrocks #nostrasia

it certainly does. When my buddy turned me onto nostr a few days ago it immediately hit me like lightning (pun intended) and sunk if that fast. This is wild, the fact that its based off of SBB in general was a cool realization. Getting involved over the last days has been an ADHD dream boat for me and inspired me to dust off so many hats. But the main one is one I thought I would never wear again, director of technical services. In the early 2000s I was in the theatre business during the change from 35mm to digital. I installed one of the first Barco DP900 projectors and turned on the first "light engine" commercially.
This feels like that moment, a shift from the old paradigm to something totally different while remaining somewhat the same. #nostrisepic

It's frustrating for me that nostr clients like @nprofile…cgkr and @nprofile…m58v have email walls set up around them.
Straight up, I didn't come here to replicate my experience from web 2.0. We don't need analogues of existing systems. I did it with wavlake and I am on the fence now feeling like I regret it.
That alone is a shitty feeling as an artist. Did I do the wrong thing for me as the creator? Did I really wanted this release tied to existing systems? It's a distraction from my creative flow honestly.
It just feels energetically shitty being tied to that paradigm. Why do you need my email? If you have a newsletter or something you want to push, just ask people. I would gladly spin up an anon email pointing to mine so I see what you want to promote.
At my core I am here to support.
Why didn't I just do that in the first place you ask? They don't accept them so far and I was tired of wasting time entering them in and getting denied.
I might pull down the release and wait until a client comes around who I can sign into with nos2x with...

I had this thought yesterday and went to throw it up here, spent forever writing it out on mobile and FB opened out of nowhere, somehow force closed Primal and I lost everything. I am going to remove it from my phone completely along with all other meta garbage. #fuckzuck
That being said, the thought was. I wonder if any dance music producers and DJs that have a following on nostr have ever said "where do you want me to play? Zap me to your city!"
I know myself and other artists I have been booked with, opened for etc like Stanton Warriors, JFB and so many more would play anywhere people wanted us. Like anywhere, we arent scared. I live in a country at war and come from a cartel run nightmare of a town in the 80's/90's
Realistically, Wherever people genuinely want us to be is where we truly want to perform.
Yes, money is a thing in our reality. Venue owners and promoters book artists to sell tickets (for the most part, our venue The Craft by ColYve in Cambodia is a different business model, still involves tickets though). So they can only guess what people may or may not want to see based often on extremely bias opinions and inflated social accounts.
Followers could change all that system realistically. For instance, if people wanted to see me play in Ghana, I wouldn't hesitate in the slightest (just a random thought) if there were enough zaps to get me there. I would waive my fee for one of the shows while I am there, followers choice as to where. Then I could book a tour around that area and make up my fee from other promoters.
Then people could also zap me to cities in that area of the world for cheaper.
It's a super loose thought, but I wondered if any artists have put it out there and what it looked like if they did. Zap = ticket or VIP or something. Open to any discussion.
I have no following on here as I just started, so this isn't really a question about me specifically as an artist, more in general. Thoughts?

On the nose too dead center my friend. I can speak to this front he perspective of both an artist, performer and venue owner -as well as from a label perspective.
I'm scared to jinx it. But Nostr space has all the makings of the protocol to change it all and I am glad to be a part of it, even releasing music through.
I direly dispise social media and basicy always have. I am not a promoter or marketer, but have had to play that role for way to long uncomfortabley to stay in the game.
Often this is how great artists get tangled in bad contracts with crap labels who have massive marketing power to build and destroy them.
Look up The Murder City Devils if you want to see the prime example of labels destroying something beautiful

I can imagine. As a producer having a solid way to release music with some form of... Oh no, he didn't say... royalty structure would be step in... a direction.
Not saying the old models are good, but there are parts that could be salvaged and maybe updated.
I love the idea of v4v. It's an honest, if a bit nieve, way to receive support as an artist. I have a bones structure for what it could look like to take it a bit further and attach licensing options for zaps as a way to encourage that support.
Nostr is primordial ooze, so watching people add and take away from these concepts will be interesting.
So far my single has traction with tons of plays and downloads. So DJs are grabbing the track to add to their sets and people are listening, which is great.
That has yet to produce a zap ⚡. So with that many plays on Spotify I many only get $.000001 cent so far for instance. But that is value of some kind beyond being able to say "cool man, people like this."
Ultimately, this is not a gripe. Just note for people like you looking to attract investment in dev.
My label(s) would be happy to enter into a beta agreement with a dev and offer fresh releases while testing ways to monitize that build our sats, the devs sats and returns that value to the following.
Monitary systems are always complex, even more so when art is involved.

Labels do a lot more than release music. I am not signed to a traditional label anyway. Some of my masters are released through them, others are self released etc.
There are certain realities that will remain even in this space. The label offers me tours, marketing, manages advancing, covers costs and process for visas through trusted agents - to name a few of the services provided for their cut if they are a good label.
Some of this stuff is a lot more difficult than people think. I can't tell you how many artists get visas denied from countries because they werent advanced properly and ended up working illegally in the country thinking nothing of it when they were on vacation a decade ago.
The US is a prime example. People don't realize when they appear on a music lineup for a theme camp at Burning Man, the government considers it work even if they didn't get paid.
Immigration does a now super quick AI deep dive on you and those things pop up. Old twitter posts, YT videos the artist didn't even know were being taken posted by influencers who dropped their name in the description to get views etc.
Ultimately, a label is choice. If an artist wants to bootstrap, amazing. Go for it. The labels I work with are all either ditching web 2.0 models and garbage like Spotify or are being born in the nostr spacey people who have decades of connections and are tired of the industry the way it is.

I like @nprofile…m58v , but there are some things about it, specifically it being off protocol realistically, that I don't like. This client would have that integration as part of it. But the UX/UI on wavlake is solid. I released a track on there to see what its all about.

I agree with a lot of this. I can say I was pretty disappointed that @nprofile…m58v forces email usage to create a separate account to access the studio function and release tracks.
So the whole "followers" crossover thing dies there unfortunately. I know people can see your nPub and lightning wallet. Non-tech people can't be fucked to click through extra steps taking them to other places to complete a thing like following you.
That being said the UX/UI is nice on it. I dropped a track just to see how it works that was set for release on Spotify originally. Hopefully they figure that part out. The v4v thing is a great idea. Hard sell for a label right now though.

This probably isn't the best place to ask. But I can't seem to use wavlake. When I sign in with nos2x it logs in and connects, then I try to do anything and it says I need to have a standard login or refers me to the login page again. Weird. Help if you know how 😃
