@nprofile…z5mg I've heard of it being noisier on RX in urban environments, but that is anecdotal from a friend in an urban environment who changed out his ladder line doublet for a coax fed EFHW and got noise improvements.

Out of curiosity, what country are you in? In the US, exams may be taken online and are run through clubs. The exam fees just go to the club, you may be able to find one that would waive or refund the exam fee for disabled people.

If you enjoyed The Expanse, I highly recommend the new series by James S.A. Corey: The Captives War. The first book, The Mercy of Gods, was excellent. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. Oh, and if you like The Expanse audiobooks, Jefferson Mays narrates this one as well.
