Getting in the spirit for hunting season.
It’s a privilege to have the ability to harvest an animal.
Give it a peaceful death. And pay respects.
This will be my first Moose Hunt.
I’m actually kind of nervous for the harvest.
Moose’s are a majestic animal. And I’m reminded of that scene in ‘Into the wild’ where he weeps at his loss and the animals misfortune.

I think you should ask yourself what your intentions are.
I just want the meat so I go straight for a half cow.
If you don’t have the freezer space ask a couple friends to go splits.
I believe the ‘own a cow’ can be done differently with different farmers. One such is like a subscription fee where they send you meat every month .. kinda like helping pay for the upkeep of the farm so to speak.

How long are you aiming for?
I fast once a month for 3 days or do several single day fasts within a 2 week period.
Its not so much getting used to fasting but more-so from my experience a bodily experience you’ll eventually crave.
It’s a flushing of our system. Its built into is not to eat for extended periods of time (short and longer).
I like to live my life by ‘the caveman experience’
Would there be times of no food or even famine. Yea. We are after-all, a product of our past.
Replicate it responsibly.

We do indeed select strains with faster grow times. But this forces them to flip faster.
I put the bags on at 5am and take them off at 9am
Sun sets at 9 now so it simulates a truer 12/12 sun schedule
The heat isn’t as bad as you would think and is a non issue as the full sun doesn’t hit
