Det är precis den här definitionen som inte är ekologisk. Om materiellt överskott är garanten för mänsklig frihet är den också vad som orskar utarmningen av planeten. Materiellt överskott kan väll bara komma från över exploatering? Jag tror jag missar ett större sammanhang med ”limits”. Håller med om och att ”planerande” kan mäta exploateringsgraden. Men, om grundförutsättningen är att teknik måste ge materiellt överskott för att vi ska vara fria, så är planeringen mest data. Detta är kanske Saitos poäng?

during the crash in the 90s the housing prices dropped sharply, the countryside industries (”bruk”) were finally shut down. This marked a transition in Swedish production economy and the end for many smalltown jobs. In my village half the population speak Dutch and work remotely to NL. A fully functional house 1 hectar land and lake view can be bought for under 100k€.

14 years ago I predicted a new world order and severe privacy restrictions in Europe. I gave a talk at SEC-T about how to stay invisible but still use mobile phones [1]. 14 years ago the main features of mobile phones were calls and sms. These two things are the best done through sms gateways and VoIP today. An alternative is to use Huawei chan_dongle or osmocom-bb connected to an asterisk in your friendly server rack. Many legacy (pre-2012) burner phones (modems) support APDU CAT commands to spy on the user. These are invisible sms messages that trigger mobile phones to do bad things, like invisibly making calls that give away the audio [2]. This means that the anonymous mobile device of today should be a device with either roaming Internet access from free countries or using SIM cards from a ”goalie”. To make and receive calls use remote services to not give away your position. Use flight mode often. 5G has better privacy features than its predecessors. Use a VPN to reduce your geo footprint.
