I got banned in one old (20+ years) discussion room (on nyx.cz, “nove internetove humory”, new internet humors) dedicated to memes just because I posted these memes. First someone from the admin team deleted them, then I reposted them again with a question “which soyboy deleted my posts?”. I didn’t fully notice that the room got captured by woke libtards. I think it’s ok if some people don’t think these are funny and they are free to click on the “dislike” buttons, but delete it and ban me? To be honest I’m not even surprised that I got banned. It all started when I disliked a meme about Hulk Hogan on RNC, the guy that posted it immediately tried to dox me. So I wanted to “test the waters” to see how these woke czech admins are similar to US lovers of cancelling opposing views by posting these memes one after another, slowly, with some delays and I was expecting the ban. Next day someone from Moscow tried to log into my LinkedIn. I didn’t have 2FA enabled, so I changed my password and enabled 2FA … and they didn’t block my account and don’t want my ID, so thank you LinkedIn. But everything would be better if I could just use my hardware key or Nostr key.

Facebook blocked my account. I have 2FA enabled, but according to FB someone else
tried to log into my account so they blocked it and now they want a copy of my ID to get my account back. Well I don’t trust them and they can keep it. I’m finally free from FB. I didn’t use it anyway, but I “had” to be in multiple messenger groups (mostly kids school). Now I don’t care. Honestly I hate these FB messenger groups full of moms arguing about the most unimportant stuff.

Finally Facebook locked my account. I don’t use it, I don’t post any stuff on FB, I had a very strong password with 2FA enabled. I had it only because of some school, parents and other chat groups on FB messenger, because my wife never wanted a FB account and used my account to access these chat groups (I hate that parents these days use stupid corporate closed chat apps instead of email). Now FB has decided that “someone else” used my account and now it wants my ID. Well screw that, I’m now giving them anything and my wife will just have to accept it.

Anyway instead of buying a new MacBook M3 Max I bought a new PC and put Nobara with KDE on it. It’s great to be back on Linux (I used Gentoo 2002-2004, Ubuntu 2004-2010 daily, then only sometime in VMs). I’ll use my old MacBook (2015) occasionally until it will die, then I’ll buy probably a Tuxedo AMD laptop.

Dňa a hodiny nie, ale sezónu áno. Je jasne napísané čo sa bude diať vo svete. Aspoň si pozri to video, lebo z tvojej odpovede viem, že si to nepozeral. Čaká nás svadba a správna nevesta očakáva a špekuluje a teší sa :). A nie že si povie “nevieme dňa a hodiny” a teda to nebude potom nijako riešiť. I forgot how much fun it is to choose parts for a new PC and how much fun it is to test random linux distros.
I started with Mandrake in 1999, then moved to Gentoo in 2002, then to Ubuntu in 2004 until 2008, when I bought a white plastic MacBook. But I always had Ubuntu installed either in a VM or on my old PC. Right now I’m deciding between Ubuntu, Fedora and its spin-off Nobara. I also tried Garuda KDE, will try their GNOME version (I always prefer GNOME over KDE). Maybe I’ll also give a chance to other Arch based distros (Endeavor, but not Manjaro). I always liked bleeding edge (I couldn’t stay on stable Ubuntu for a long time), but I’m too old for an unstable system.

I’ve decided not to buy a new MacBook Pro 16 M3 Max, mostly because of the high risk of the soldered SSD being killed randomly with a high voltage. Instead I’ll use my current MacBook Pro (2018) until it dies and go back to normal PC and later buy some cheap Tuxedo or Framework 16. This combo will cost me same as a the new MacBook.

My guess is they’ll still get more without having to pay the visa/mastercard/bank transaction fees and maybe they will not declare this sale, so they won’t also pay taxes from this :)
It would be great if stores would be legally allowed to offer a fixed % discount for cash payments.

What I love on #greece is that in some situations when you are going to pay cash you’ll get a random discount :). Like today I bought some souvenirs, price was 24.10€ and when the store owner saw I was going to pay cash, he changed the price to 24€.
Another time, on a boat, I bought some food for 20.60€, I gave them 20€ bill and I was going to give them those 60 cents and the lady waved her hand, said “it’s ok” and sent me away.

I used to hate Russians and Germans on holiday (I have multiple bad experiences with both these nations), and since today I also hate the arrogant and smug French. Every day there is a mini disco for kids and both the French and Czech animation team dance together. But today the French animation team probably had a free day today, so what did they do? They screwed over the non-French kids. They didn’t allow the Czech team to use the sound and light system, but they didn’t give up, used their own small external speaker and danced in the dark :-).

We are near Georgioupoli. Agia Pelagia is very nice, we were there last year on a one day trip. We plan to visit Balos Lagoon and Elafonissi Beach. Nope, he just said something normal to his wife, no “pyčo” or something similar :). Just the beer and big belly was enough. Also his wife looked like a typical modern czech grandma, with short gray haircut. It was an old couple with their grandson.

We are in a hotel full of mostly French tourists, with some Germans, Czechs and Slovaks. During one dinner my wife told me “look at that man, he looks Czech to me”, I asked her “why”, she replied “he is drinking beer and has a big belly, not like those slim French guys drinking wine”. Later we heard him say something and yep, my wife was correct :). #crete #greece #czech #wifeisalwaysright
