PTFE is fine for temperature controlled cooking methods tbh. a rice cooker shuts off around 100°C, an airfryer might reach 220, but PTFE doesn't degrade until somewhere beyond 250.
also good luck finding these devices *without* coating lol. most of my regular cookware is in fact stainless steel.
i don't own any ceramic cookware myself, but cooking in an unglazed, soaked ceramic pot [is actually pretty widespread](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clay_pot_cooking)

wondering whether using acetone or isopropanol to clean sticky polymerised fat off cookware is a very good or very very bad idea…
i can imagine toxic impurities being a problem, especially if you get your solvents from the hardware store or cleaning supplies shop; but you can get them in food-safe/pharmaceutical-grade varieties too
i can imagine acetone destroying PTFE coatings, since PTFE itself is a polymer, but i don't have any PTFE cookware except my airfryer and rice cooker
what about other materials? stainless steel shouldn't be a problem. neither should glass, which includes emamel coatings. raw ceramic and cast iron might be a problem since they're porous, but then again, these solvents evaporate pretty quickly.

even if it did, it wouldn't start a fire as long as there is enough water. water takes a tremendous amount of energy to heat, let alone evaporate; a 100 Wh battery in 1 ℓ of water might bring it to a boil, depending on how warm the water was to start with, but not much further. buckets typically are much larger than that, and most lipo batteries in electronics are smaller.

[puts on pedantry glasses] ackshually lithium (polymer) batteries don't cause lithium (metal) fires, since they contain lithium ions, not metallic lithium. a lipo battery fire can be extinguished with a standard class A extinguisher, whereas you'd need a class D one for an actual metal fire.

not too much, most services i use daily are hosted in europe
with youtube and steam gone i'd need to look for other sources of entertainment, such as my huge backlog of books and webcomics (the ones that aren't hosted on stuff like webtoons, anyway). steam would obviously suck a bit, considering how much money i've given them over the years. bandcamp would be gone too but i've downloaded all my purchases. github being gone wouldn't affect me personally but would likely cause the mother of all 0days, because so many projects would suddenly be unable to release any security updates. losing signal would be pretty inconvenient. losing rsync.net would be a bit scary until i find another place to dump my offsite backups.
other than that i'd be fine i think

reducing disk i/o is probably a good start, for instance by [relocating hot data to a ramdisk](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Anything-sync-daemon), especially [browser data](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Profile-sync-daemon). see also the rest of the advice on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Improving_performance#Reduce_disk_reads/writes. a ram upgrade is always a good idea too, since it allows the kernel to swap less and keep more data cached
