nostrcheck-server now supports L402 ⚡️, this standard is focused on payments where the server issuing the invoice does not necessarily need to be an LN node, but also does not need to be 100% dependent on an external node.
Once the invoice is issued, no communication with LN is needed to perform client-server transactions.
If someone wants to test it, use the installer of the 0.6.0 branch, which is currently under development, be careful, it might explode 🤣

There is a pubkey who has uploaded over 6500 files to nostrcheck.me
Many of these files with adult content, I have reviewed each upload by hand, one by one.
Two days ago this ‘person’ started uploading illegal content involving underage children.
I'm tired, very tired. For me #nostr is a breath of fresh air, but this is beyond me, this is an abuse to all of us, from the victims of the pictures to myself.
#asknostr we have to do something about this. Seriously
P.S: never donated a single satoshi because of the indiscriminate abuse of my server, never.

I'm not usually against innovations, but mentally I had nostr on (my) good side of the story. It's obvious that we have different paths but that doesn't mean that I don't respect your work, but please don't disrespect others by using derogatory words and adjectives.
I'm going to tell you something that may surprise you, your project is super interesting but your way of promoting it spoils everything.
As Fishcake says, the initiatives parallel to the standard, for the moment, do not solve the real problems of the users, that does not mean that they are worse or better. Today 'centralized' servers solve a problem, let's work together to decentralize them with the tools we have, this is called NIP96 for the moment.
There are wonderful alternatives like Blossom 🌸, or H.o.r.n.e.t.s, let's embrace them and try to find a consensus together. I’m trying to do that.
Nostr.build is the best thing that ever happened to nostr, without them the rest of us would not have been able to handle the traffic and workload, nostr.build is not the enemy, how wrong you are! There are no ‘enemies’ here 😀

Many OG's are now in Monero, personally I think it's a waste of time but it's ok for everyone to spend their time where they want.
If I were them, I would use my time to develop a BTC L2 (private etc, like monero) instead of a side project. IMHO 🤓

Yesterday the Amethyst team released an update that allows you to select custom media servers, if you use #amethyst change the media provider to one from this list:

My opinion? Don't use the big 3 (nostr-buid, void-cat, nostrcheck-me) use any of the others.
By the way, all nostrcheck-server instances that upgrade to the coming 0.6.0 version will support Blossom 🌸 and NIP96 🟣simultaneously. Allowing the user to decide which way of uploading files will be imposed in the future 😎

In terms of performance the difference is minimal, if we get detailed `const` helps the compiler to optimize performance by ensuring that the reference remains constant, on the other hand ‘let’ minimally overloads the compiler as it must allow it to overwrite.

I have detected the error.
If you notice I return you a processing_url with 202 header, in the spec of NIP96 it indicates that it should not return you neither size nor dimensions nor x at this moment, I suppose that in some update I broke it.
Whenever it returns processing_url you should process it as delayed processing (even though it doesn't take even 1 second).
I have already removed the size and dim tags from the initial response to avoid confusion.
Can you try now?
