Taking a quote out of the context it was in (an article about Gaiman *spits in disgust*) but even out of context this says exactly why AFAB often struggle in society.

I have (currently unmedicated) ADHD.
My two kids also have ADHD (eldest medicated).
They are both trying to support me to tidy my craft corner.
They are also ripping the absolute living shit out of me for my lack of organisation and duplicate supplies.

How come you don’t have it? Can you not wear it at the moment as you heal?
I’m trying a boil and bite again to see if it helps. I did one and then he adjusted my bite on the dentures so I chucked it and now I regret that.

But I’ve always been a clench n grinder. My real teeth were ground to shit because of it and no one ever really gave me any advice other than “maybe don’t do that” 😜
He says he can make me a custom guard if I think it will help. I guess it can’t hurt (although I always chewed through intensive had in the past)

I also saw my dental tech this morning to discuss some of the TMJ pain I’ve been getting. It’s more than likely that the problem is me not the dentures. (*waves* Hi, it’s me, I’m the Problem!)
He said, “maybe if you can figure out what’s causing you to clench and grind…”

Yeah. Not sure what the solution is there. I gather that some of the usual medications might even make that worse.

On Monday I spent the entire day thinking it was Tuesday, my usual work day, and so I did a shit-ton of freelance hours—incidentally, also finishing a project that didn’t need to be done until next year.
No idea where I thought Monday had gone but Present Me is idolising Past Me right now as I only have roughly 4 contracted hours to do this week and then I’m done for the year.
Of course. I’m procrastinating doing them, but Present Me can sometimes be a bit of a dick.

Weird question maybe but do you ever feel like you get more “bad luck” than other people, and do you consider yourself to be neurospicy?
I sometimes can’t tell if I just over-think or if I’m particularly more paranoid / picky about stuff.
I feel like if my life were a movie, most of it would be edited out for being too unrealistic. 😂

I am clueless what would be a good purchase for a semi-beginner. They have one that uses cans of compressed air and it’s kinda rubbish.

I’ve lost about 2 stone over the course of the year, unintentionally and I’m not happy about it at all. Some of it is because of teeth stuff, some of it is because of endo and IBS.
I’d like some suggestions for how to put it back on.
Biggest problem is I can’t eat red meat, dairy, eggs, wheat, nuts, soya and a whole bunch of weird veggies and fruits. Also I’m T1 diabetic. Yeah, I really do have a limited diet. 😬

What I do not understand is that these #dentures can be absolute fucking Hell all day and then it rolls round to evening time and they fit *perfectly* and without any pain?
I was thinking it was to do with me taking my evening pain meds, but the same meds taken throughout the day don’t seem to help in the same way at all. What gives? What data am I supposed to give to anyone who is trying to help me?! “I think my mouth changes shape constantly throughout the day”? Argh!
