this does not apply everywhere: for example, there are areas in Europe where you need the municipality permission even to change the color of your house, and you can only choose from an allowed colors palette.

many channels on the graph are reported with capacity = 0.

checking it on mempool.space or amboss or similar services, the channel is a fine 3ml sats channel.
anyone else running the latest lnd (0.21.0-beta.rc1) noticed that? Should I report this as a bug or is it an issue with my own node?

once there were mostly basic bricks and less kits.
you used your fantasy to build things.
now you have mostly expensive kits with very specific "bricks".
you buy the kit, build it (involving zero fantasy) and never destroy it because it costed a lot and the "bricks" it is made of are very specific and less reusable for other constructions

some friends reported that lnd v0.20.0-beta.rc4 have serious performance issues on less performant hardware.
this bug is probably the culprit:

at a certain moment I was thinking the same (if I understand correctly what you said): having a channel full, being then able to forward a large payment, is something desirable and of value, so the fee should be high.
but this is counterintuitive (and possibly wrong!)
